I find that kind of contradicting. Yes you can be a "family" living apart, but if that what was the most important aspect of them being together and raising a child - then wouldn't you think she would have stayed WITH HIM, living with him under the same roof - is that giving the child the best security of a family?
I am not knocking anyone that is divorced here, I just found what she said to be contradicting.
