The Enquirer is reporting that Patrick Swayze has terminal cancer and doctors have given him 5 weeks to live.
*
For the past month, Patrick, 55, has been traveling to Stanford University’s prestigious cancer center in Palo Alto for radical chemotherapy, but his doctors are no longer optimistic that the treatments will be successful.

Man, I really hope this is just more Enquirer bullshit.

If that's a recent photo of him then I'm not surprised. He looks really skinny and not good.
Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooo..... he can't die........ I still watch him in "Ghost" whenever I get a chance and someone gave me a copy of "Dirty Dancing" and I love him in that also.....
I certainly hope too that it is a false rumor - he is way to young. As I know you will, please keep us posted.

a rumor like that somehow usually ends up having some truth to it. I hope its not true! I watch "Ghost" alot too. I love it. I love Whoopi in it too, she cracks me up in that. Didn't she get her Oscar for that? I love this guy, lets all just have positive thoughts for him. I think he's still married to his wife of many years too. he's a good guy. Damn it. Figures.
What sucks is Rob Lowe. He was recently asked to autograph a pic of "The Outsiders" Great movie BTW. And he made a special point to mention that Patrick was standing on a brick so he'd appear taller than the rest of the guys. He was playing the patriarc in that pic and everyone else was supposed to be school aged. So, I get the logic behind the pic. Anyway, he was dissing him and now he's gotta live with that. Patrick is a very cool & nice guy. I hope Rob can't sleep nights now! That was just the other day. How mean of him & hateful & unnecessary to even say. Good gawd. What was the point of that?
it seems to be true - I saw a blurb now in yahoo news. Although they said he is reacting well to the treatment, so I don't know how advance it is or what except what the rumors say.
Just sad.

I read that crap about Rob Lowe too!
What an ass.
I just saw the news on CNN and yes its true. They said the cancer is very slow growing. If I am correct Micheal Landon had the same cancer.I wish him luck and a speedy recovery if at all possible.
Jim Cunningham. He played that role to perfection.
Pancreatic cancer doesnt have a high mortality rate and its often months to a yr ..1- 3 years after diagnosis, even with treatments.
Its a terrible terrible form of cancer. Pancreas produces and releases insulin into the stomach to deal with sugars during the digestive process, this cancer often throws someone into diabetis and all its complications then into renial failure.
Poor man my heart goes out to him and his wife.
