Watched some movies last night

I'm not reviewing films for you because I live in backwoods hell so I'm always the last to see them, but, last night I picked two biggies instead of the small independents I generally favor. I don't give two shits in a tornado what anyone says about the virtues of Atonement...it sucked my butt. I was so gowdawful bored I sat in front of the tube and picked candle wax out of old holders, gave myself a magenta pedi and finally cut two feet of my hair off while watching it. No, not because it made me psychotic, I was just sick of Atonement and my massive hair.

My hair is a separate story, let's just say I'M FREE! I love it and I didn't fuck it up too bad, I'll post a pic Sunday. I liked Keira's clothes in the movie and loved their family home. Stylin'! But, they should have stuck all these dreary characters and plodding plot on the Titanic and killed two bores with one stone. Another Jack and Rose and I don't care..hated it. HATED IT.

No Country For Old Men..OMG! Loved it beyond belief, this is the best film I've seen in ages. I was mesmerized and could not take my eyes off the screen for a second. Man, I can't say enough about how good it is. A study in crazy, kind of real life. Not that I've ever shot anyone with a hydraulic livestock killer..but, you never know. No, I haven't. Really, I haven't. I did relate to that tough cowboy that found the money though. Maybe a little too much. Yep.

Great book as well. Evil never stops as you can gather from the film. Coen brothers make awesome movies i.e; Miller's Crossing and Barton Fink.

Man, I loved it. The people in it were real to me. I've lived a strange life.

Crap. I just realized I cut my hair just like that blabbermouth kid in Atonement. Damn movies.

I want to see both of them too. But NCFOM is my #1 choice to see 1st. I like the cast and it won Oscars, so I will rent it this weekend. Thanks DD for helping me set up my Friday night with Blockbuster!
