The $5,000 dollar cake

Photobucket

That's Suri Cruise's birthday cake and it cost 5 grand. Never mind that Lissa could make a better looking confection with her play dough and Easy Bake Oven with the light bulb burned out. Tom Cruise thinks we're going to listen to him about religion and how the world should run when he blows $100 grand on a kids second birthday party. Ever heard of Chuck E. Cheese, you short ballsy bastard?

I don't get it either. I was a baker for 50 years and made hundreds of cakes that size....no way could you charge $5000 for it. That's outrageous. Maybe it is filled with Scientology Books.

BUT Suri is a cutie

That dude looks nervous. If he'd dropped the cake, Tom would've had him killed and his remains fed to David Miscavige.

it looks like the guy carrying it is nibbling on the top layer...

for $5000 it should be shaped like a ferris wheel that really worked!

a mere mortal like suri or tom cruise could NOT go to chuck e. cheese!

It's kind of funny how this is placed right over the article about Gwyneth Paltrow donating money for food for people. Why don't celebrities like him just cut to the chase and start wiping their asses with money? I think it sends the message more directly.

I would have been more impressed with a cake from Ace of Cakes! Now they could have created something worth $5000, but I doubt that they even charge that much.

Tom should know that they could have made a replica of the Scientology center out of cake. Not that Suri would have been impressed with that, but who is sSuri anyway...... Tom is all that seems to matter!!!

Tom is a idiot.Need I say more?

My gawd...they saw Tommy coming, huh? Thats at most about a $400-$500 cake. Trust me. I've seen nicer, more detailed fondant cakes done that cost a mere fraction of this. This is "Tom Cruise" pricing! Or it's just a PR lie. & I agree "Charm City Cakes" aka Ace Of Cakes could whip their ass on great cakes. This cake looks very simple. Not enough details for the price & not big enough. What happened to the 36 cupcakes? That seemed like enough to me! For a 2 year old!! No cake costs that much. Unless it's Donald Trumps ginormous wedding cake!

Hey DD...take a load of kids to Chuck E Cheese for a b'day party, cake, tokens and drinks. Then you always have to order more pizzas. Salads are about $8 each, not included, adults always want salad. Yeah, the 5G would come in handy. It adds up pretty quick there. It runs a couple hundred+ at least if you have a decent sized group...easily.
