Last night I had a great phone call from my best friend since childhood. She's my non blood sister. She said "Fuck your problems, I'm worried about the Olsen twins!" If you don't think I wasn't rolling on the floor laughing, then you don't know me at all. Many MK jokes followed, it got so bad I won't repeat them, let's just say I don't call 911, I call MK and she sends her nutritionist.

The point is, some people just know you well enough to know what you need. And I need to blog. Eric was very amused by this place and so proud to tell his Hollywood buddies "My mom is the Dirty Disher!" This aint no poetry site or heartbreak hotel and you won't read any "M is for the many things" doody. If you're looking for that you'll get a big ass foolin', won't ya? I'm blogging, slow but steady. You may judge me harshly, but, I'll pay about as much attention to you as the Olsen twins do to me.

I have lots to do yet and many people to thank. I will name names on personal Sunday and post details. Keep on reading. Oh, and to all you readers who think I'm too busy for you right now..no, I'm not. My days are hectic and insane, but, the sleepless nights are endless. So here's what you can do for me. Send me YOUR pics as usual for Sunday, your kids, pets, you, oh, and any loved ones you'd like remembered on here. And keep posting.

Inspiring strength DD. Thanks. The Olsen twins should just go by an island somwhere in the Pacific Ocean and blend in with the natives. They can all play dress up with the rags the twins wear.

I LOVED that! It's your grief and you will handle it your way. I'm so glad that you are doing what you want to do. Everyone has their own ways of dealing and whatever gets you through the day is what matters. It gets on my damn nerves when people try to dictate how someone should be in these types of situations. When "those people" go through what you are going through...let them write some damn poetry.

I know it was just what you needed and I laughed at the post. That being said, I will try very hard not to "mother you", as you know me too and how I am - laughing again.
But it certainly shows the support you have here and I truly think the world of you and I never doubted you will do just fine.
Nothing wrong with blogging either - that is part of your life and like you said - life goes on.

We all handle terrible loss and grief in our own way DD and I really admire the way you are handling yours. Your inner strength just shines through. We all know the old saying "laughter is the best medicine" and I think that's so true. Your friend sounds like a great person and she seems to know just what you need.
No one has the right to judge or tell another person how they should grieve. Just keep doing what feels right for YOU.
