Gnomesville??

Reader Lia sent these in and they cracked me up. Who would have ever thought of making a Gnome village? It's in Western Australia. I love Gnomes in other peoples yards, I drive by and make up Gnome stories about what they do when no one's looking. LOL! I looked hard for real Gnomes hiding in here..because you never know! Too funny, Lia, thanks.

I live in Australia, and these gnome villages used to be all around the place! There was one about 20 minutes drive from town when I was a kid, and I used to love going to see it. They had little houses, a lovely garden and everything.
It's gone now, as are most of them, I guess they fell out of fashion.
My inner child is happy to see one is still in existence!

Well, the trend is creating smaller self-sustaining communities. The gnome community has moved away from this like humanfolk, but we are fast realising the benefits of shared labour and resources, especially with the rising costs of oil and commodities.
