SJP says her child wears used clothes handed down from her nephews because she doesn't want him thinking he's all that and money is everything.

Holy Batman Jammies! That makes me like her even more. She must have nieces too because sometimes I've gawked at the girly pink. And you KNOW he doesn't just have hand me downs, but, the fact that he wears any at all floored me. Good for her. It makes me feel creepy sometimes that a pair of Suri Cruise's shoes would pay the rent for most of us for at least a year. Jen Gardner is another one I've noticed that doesn't go all designer on her kid. Violet wears the same shoes and coats until she outgrows them. Anyhow, James Wilkie Broderick is a cute kid and I have a feeling life with him can be complicated without designer duds. This kid has political opinions, fashion advice for his mom and questions about homosexuality...he aint your average bear.

and yet she'll wear $1200+ shoes....yeah, that kid will learn the value of money....
i can't stand her and this is one of the reasons why "my kid wears hand me downs blah blah blah"....not even new underwear???? used skid marks??
she tries soooooooooooo hard to be 'down to earth' but she was a gold/fame digger and yet tries to cater to the 'ordinary folks' whilst wearing $$$$ clothes and shoes....
I always liked her because she seems happy enough to be herself. If I could afford thousand dollar shoes, and I loved them, I would buy them too.
People think that because someone has a ton of money that all they do is spend it on anything thats expensive. I know so many wealthy people who you wouldnt even know were wealthy because they just didnt care. Its the people who dont have the money that are spending what they dont have. Its good to instill values in your chiuldren that dont revolve around the almighty dollar.
