Bee Bee is growing too and just because we have a new baby rodent doesn't mean we ignore The Bee. Lissa and Bee Bee love to play with the barn. I can trust them now, they're both pretty good. They've learned how to entertain each other and it's cute to watch. It's also quiet and gives me a break. Bee Bee is really sweet natured, but, she does get excited and jumps and climbs. She plays tug of war and roll the ball games too. She never tries to get away and washes her face in front of Lis now. Rodent experts tell me this is how a rat shows that it trusts you. yeah, sticking up to your chest in a cows ass is really nice. Or loose a fingertip to a bunny. Have a rat bite through your hand is fun too ...
just tell her about the bad stuff when it is too late to change her mind. ;)

4:15:00...she hasn't been bitten by a rat or a squirrel yet, but, if it makes you feel more "right", she was bitten by a BIG dog Friday. She was on her own porch when the BIG lab mix (who'd been turned loose by some moron) ran right up and took her. The half crazed dog bit her right in the face. She had to go to the hospital to be treated. The part that broke her skin is in her hairline and you can see the bruise from the beasts bottom teeth in her birthday post. I didn't find it the least bit amusing and I hate people that don't take care of their animals.
OMG! The dog was just running loose? I hope you reported it and the dog & owner were picked up and taken in. I'm sooo sorry. They always go right for the face, head or throat. Sometimes all at the same time and succeed! Gawd! Why? That poor baby. I hope she's Ok now. That will probably traumatize her for a while tho. Dog bites make you scared of dogs. Will she scar? As if she hasn't been thru enough. That just can't happen to a little girl, or anyone.
those pictures are so too cute for words. That middle one of the BEE BEE cleaning it's face is just precious.
I hope Alissa is ok and knowing her and how big her heart is, she will continue to love dogs just the same.

She's fine and not the least bit traumatized. She still wants a dog for her birthday.
she is GORGEOUS!!! happy birthday to both of you and may you all - including the rodents - have a very long and happy life together. i am asking this here because you haven't responded to my messages (perhaps you deleted them as spam). i sent a booklet to you early may. i think it must have gone seamail instead of airmail. its for you and lis and the rodent and i hope you all have happy times together using it. i hope it arrives or has arrived in your post office box and please let me know if and when it does.
