I agree with her and wish her well. I adore Beth Ditto, I don't care if she's a fat proud lesbian with a big mouth who is known for parading around on stage all sweaty in her big girl underpants with her thunder thighs and belly rolls hanging out. Beth is one of the smartest celbs and one of the true talents left. My obsession with Beth Ditto is based on her chops and I could listen to her band Gossip all day long. But, I won't be buying the clothes because I've lost so much weight in the last year, that I'm almost not fat anymore. Heh.. But, I WILL be buying all Beth's albums. You bethca.

Only one "little" problem with that idea;
Beth Ditto has absolutely ZERO fashion sense. The photo you've posted is easily the best she's looked in 3 years.
Big women *can* be fashionable-- that is, if they're motivated enough to discover their true size (and wear it!), choose colors, prints and fabrics that are flattering, and if they realize that there are certain items of apparel they simply cannot wear.. unless of course, they want to look foolish.
Sadly, Beth Ditto adheres to none of the above criteria, and her "Big Girl" fashion line is sure to fail.

Yeah.. I am a normal size but have huge boobs and there is stuff I can just not wear. The only exception is if I buy styles from stores in Los Angeles. No lie. There are ALWAYS room for my boobs in those clothes.
Beth Ditto fan I take it? Wow, to say the least. Hopefully she will do better than LiLo did with her leggings line. Why hasn't Liv Tylers Plus-sized model sister ever done this? She is gorg & always looks good. This chick just looks like a sweaty,sloppy-fat girl. Sorry DD. I don't agree with this.
No, I think being morbidly obese is nothing to be proud of. Go figure. It's a treatable disorder/problem, not some kind of banner you should held up high like you've achieved something. This girl clearly exceeds the limits of tolerable body fat, to put it extremely mildly, and her message that it's OK to be unable to tie your own shoes is severely irresponsible and messed up.
Beth Ditto hawking clothes is like Steve-O hawking encyclopedias.

I don't think shes saying shes proud of her weight, but that shes proud of herself as a woman a human being. And so she should.
Btw you can be 'normal' sized and very unhealthy with all the things that ppl like yourself automaticly assume only are associated with people of size.
I don't think anyone would dissagree that BD needs to loose a few pounds, but even a 10% loss can and will bring positive changes to those dealing with issues associated with their weight.
Way to go DD -bet you feel much better than when you were heavier.
