Baaaaa, people are making a big whoomp over Katie Holmes sending Nicole Kidman a basket of expensive baby stuff. Like Katie's trying to stop some war. Katie Holmes had nothing to do with how Tom Cruise treated Nicole Kidman (which was pretty damn shabby, in my opinion) so, what's the big deal? The $2,000 basket of high end baby blankets and clothes was a nice thing to do.

Kidman made a remark recently that her kids are closer to their "new mom" now. I don't think she meant it bitchy, it was just a fact. A fact her stinky ex husband caused, not Katie. I'm sure they aren't best friends, but, there's no war. Yawn.

I agree with your post. I think Cruise was ridiculous when he broke up with her but I guess it was all about the Scientology (and money) for him.
What I wonder about is WHY they adopted two kids together, when they are both capable of having children biologically? Was it a Scientology thing?
Ahhh, so many rumors, we may never know the truth unless Nicole decides to talk. She suffered several miscarriages. She was pregnant when Tom walked out on her. Some say the shock of that caused her to lose the baby.

I think katie is just trying to be a decent person and deal with the situation in a mature manner, NK is the kids mother so i think she was jsut trying to be support of the CC & IC by sending a gift to their mother.
I don't however agree that NC is lily white when it comes to the demise of their marriage nor do i think she's been treated anymore terribly then she herself has done. Woman has a well disguised, manipulative and mean streak a mile wide.
In re. to the last reader's comments, I got the distinct impression that Nicole got the wind knocked out of her when TommyG ended their relationship. She may have a mean streak, alot of these hollywood types do, but he is cruel and unusual.
I agree that Katie sending the basket was really nice/ shows a degree of maturity.
Not buying the mean streak in Nicole. But I'd believe it of Holmes.
