Call me skeptical, Denise Richards

Bitch Hole's kids are in therapy.."My kids are in therapy. It’s very sad that they need to be there, but they do for now. On the other hand, it’s good they have an outlet to deal with their feelings and someone who is just their advocate."

Yeah because she's not. The ever unhappy tots will write a Mommy Dearest someday, until then I can watch them try their toddler best to interact with a mother who doesn't seem to know them. She talks to them in that stupid soft baby voice, repeating everything they say...you know, the kind of voice you use for tiny kids you don't know when you want them to like you. She pretty much sucks at it. The kids mostly say things like "That's MINE!!!" and "Huuu, mumble mumble?" I'm ashamed of myself for this next thought..her kids aren't that cute on camera. They seem like ashtrays or lamps. Frowning lamps. Oh well, she can always buy another pig.

Playboy can buy a good pig therapist.

her kids are cute! Don't hate on the babies. At least she's not spewing venom about Charlie! I really like her dad. But cannot believe he allowed himself to be filmed in his tighty whities being spray tanned! He seems so regular & humble to me. He doesn't like the glam or spectacle or attention of Hollywood. I think he will help her to retrain her brain and come back to earth & stop being hateful & jealous of Charlie & Heather & whoever. She needs the therapy and to move on! She does therapy doesn't she? I think they showed her going on one show. I don't hate her. I just wanna try to figure her out.

When she kisses the pig, she is surely thinking about Charlie. Ah good old days.

It always seems like there's a normal person in her struggling to get out, but the crazy stuff in her gets in the way. I know I have a similar problem so am giving her the benefit of the doubt. I still don't get her appeal though.

I've always loathed Denise-- even pre-Charlie, but after reading the bits 'n pieces DD posted re: "It's Complicated...", I'll admit it, I was intrigued enough to tune in. Once, anyway.

I happened to catch the episode where Denise and her widowed, live-in Dad (how can anyone not love her Dad?) re-visited the house he'd shared with his wife, (Denise' mom) before she'd died of Cancer last year.

A tear-jerker of an episode, that's for sure. But with Denise' sister in tow, they spent time going through boxes of family photos, walking on the beach looking for seashells and talking about how they will all-- including the grandchildren-- face the future without "Mom".

Dad mentioned a build-a "Teddy Bear" company that creates bears out of clothing items of the deceased, and they all decided it would be a great idea for the grandbabies.

Later, Denise and the girls had a little "tea party" and she presented them with their new "Grandma's Favorite Sweatshirt" teddy bears... The reactions, (set-up or not) were just precious, as was hearing their sweet remembrances of grandma. The youngest actually sniffled, whined and totally seemed to "get" that their grandma was REALLY gone. It was quite touching-- reality TV or not.

All in all, even after seeing just the one ep, my impression of Denise is a bit changed for the better, I'll admit. She's still an ass-- careening carelessly through life without so much as a backwards glance--- but I truly believe she loves those little girls... they are not, in my opinion, just a "pawn" in her never-ending, litigious relationship with her ex. Other than that, I can't figure her out.

But I will say, her Dad comes off as honest, straight-forward and overall, pretty damn cool.
