Matt and Amy Roloff, a married couple who are both 4-foot, 2-inch tall dwarves. They run a 34-acre farm in Oregon and have four children, ages 8-15, three of whom are average-sized while one is a dwarf.*
People think I hate the little people. I don't..I just hate Verne Troyer. Oh, and I hate my best gf's husband's twin brother who is the biggest asshole dwarf I ever met. If I'm truthful, I have to admit, little people usually weird me out because their heads seem so big. But, I love Amy Roloff. She's totally cool and very cute. I don't know how the Hell she puts up with that know it all fuck up of a dwarf husband she has. I'd like to kick his ass, and it always looks like it would be pretty easy. I think all her kids are great too, she's raising them right..but, it's Zach the dwarf boy I like the most. He is just the nicest kid. Anyway..Amy Roloff deserves to be mom of the week with all those kids, a farm, a job, a farting dog, a farting husband and a farm house that looks like a hurricane just went through. I don't know how she survives much less stays sane. The fact that they're dwarves doesn't interest me. I watch the show because it seems real. Though I always want to take a big trash can and start cleaning her house. Jeez, the rest of them can be lazy.

Hi DD, I watch their show too and get a kick out of it. No one is perfect, and that's what makes them so likeable. They are just a family actually doing pretty well.
I don't watch much TV but have tuned in to this show and really liked it. I just got "into" this family and the fact that they were "little people" or some of them were was almost forgotten by me, it was really weird. They were just people, a normal family with some health and physical issues. I really love Amy, she is a doll and a real trooper.
I love the small twin too, and find him such a sweet and sensitive kid. Have to admit, I fell I don't "know" the other kids that well because they seem to really focus on him. That's my only complaint. Could be because I don't watch on a regular basis??

The show was on at the dentist office in the lobby, when I said the house looked a mess, everyone gave me a dirty look! Shaaame on me for pointing that out, lord knows they are too little to clean themselves, BULLSHIT! I appreciate this show for exposing these midgets for who they are. Sloppy-drunken-argumentative, PEOPLE. Now let's put this show on HBO so I can see what I wanna see...

Calling them "midgets" is considered insulting today. Calling them horny and drunken midgets is just plain mean, small-minded and ignorant.
I love Amy. Her house has been going thru MAJOR renovations for the past couple of years. So, the mess could be her kinda giving up at this point till it's all done. Altho, I know from watching it for several years, that she wouldn't win any GoodHousekeeping awards. Have you ever went to their official TLC site? Ppl on there are soooo mean about the messy house. Gawd, almighty. If they are cool with it, then why care? Matt has trid several offensive ideas to help Amy with her home by organizing her, (didn't work), gave her a fabu dwarf sized modern kitchen (very cool, but it's just as messy), he's hired ppl to come & help her and she just gets pissed at his interference. She works hard. She's my fav on the show. The smallest child, he is a beautiful boy. Precious. Thanks DD for Amy's award today. She's cool.
