I decided to find a pretty photo of Amy Winehouse instead of the hideous ones floating around. I guess we're on death watch with her now. She has emphysema and is still hospitalized. The doctors say there are nodules around the chest and dark marks and she’s got 70 percent lung capacity. She told her dad she knew she had to stop drugging now. Can she do it? Or will she be puffing some crack as soon as she gets out? I don't think anyone can help Amy, she has to do it herself now, and from what we've seen, she's not capable. It makes me cry.*
Update: Amy has been temporarily released to do a show. She was spotted smoking a cig. I don't think it's the cigs people have to worry about.

This is very sad. I have known a few people who lived for years with emphysema, but it is a terrible condition.
I heard she left the hospital for rehearsal and was seen smoking a cig. is she back in? It's so sad, thanks for keeping us posted about this.

You can live a full life with emphysema, but, not if you smoke crack.
It's going to take a near death experience to help this woman it seems, even then i don't know if she'd actually make changes. And she can't get clean and healthy while she's still swimming with the emotional sharks either.
It is sad to watch, I often think of her father having to watch all this and being helpless to help her.
most people with emphysema(it killed my g'ma) still continue to smoke. They get the barrel chest and huff & puff just to get a breath. The air sacks in the lungs cannot expand & relax as normal, so the CO2 can build up. You usually end up with chronic pulminary disease, meaning your heart doesn't get enough oxygen because the lungs don't work anymore. So, then the Dr gives you an oxygen Rx. Then when they wanna smoke, and they always do, they just pop the little oxygen intake nose thingy over the head & light up. A guy I know caught himself on fire when his portable tank exploded. It can take decades to kill you. She does look kinda pretty here and healthier. Thanks for the nice pic DD. We all knew she wasn't always a hag. The crack is whats killing her!!!

yes, it is 'the cigs' the people have to worry about. Cigs, crack, it doesn't matter. They all destroy the lung. If Amy is smart she is divorcing Blake now, because soon she will be dead - and his only dream fullfilled: being rich and single.
Yes, thanks for the nice picture. You've got to be the only one out there taking the high road when it comes to Amy. It's horrible watching somebody slowly self-destruct. She'll be 25 in September...I kind of have a feeling she's going to be joining that growing list of musicians who are dead by 27. Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison...Amy Winehouse? Amy, you're breaking my heart.
