Squirrel update..he's growing like a little weed. He's just starting to crawl and now has both eyes open. He takes about an ounce of formula from a snot sucker every 4 hours. He won't touch the fancy mammal bottle from the vet, he only drinks out of a human infants aspirator. You know, those things moms suck baby boogers out with. He likes that better for some reason. Anyhow, we named him Pete and I know he's going to be fine now. He's friendly and loves being petted and held. Lissa even gave him one of her stuffed dogs to sleep with. I was impressed, because she doesn't let anyone touch her dog collection. I have some really funny pictures taken just after this, when the squirrel crawled up her shorts, but, I can't put them on because she yanked down her pants trying to get him out. He's clingy with little sharp claws that get caught in everything..lol. We LOVE him. He's still huge for his age, he's going to be the squirrel hulk.

Sweet little guy! Great pictures, Liss looks so cute with him. Glad to see he's doing great! DD, are you going to release him into the wild when he's grown? Can he survive in the wild after being raised by humans with no one to show him the squirrel way of living or will you have to keep him or at least feed him?

Hey, maybe once you've raised up Pete the squirrel, you could take in Pete the singer and his friend Amy--if anyone could straighten them out, it'd be you.

You're official..as in "Rocky" the flying squirrel? Pretty cool there DD. I say release him or you will have vet bills etc. He needs to live in the trees. He will probably stay close by tho. 'Cuz I know you will feed him.
