In a dire attempt to flee, the alleged victim says she “twisted and fell,” injuring her lower back so badly she had to undergo surgery last year and no longer can work - “at great economic loss.”

A great economic loss? How much do flight attendants make? I always equated their salary with that of a school teacher, but, as we all know..I don't know jack shit. I used to be a public school teacher until I found a better paying position making pizza. Maybe Lisa could learn to make pizza. You might wonder what a dog was doing loose on a flight. This is Jen Lopez we're talking about. She recently hid in an airport closet and tried to fake paps out that it was a special VIP area. Like we don't already know she's rich and famous. And like paps aren't going to open the door later and find a closet full of cleaning supplies and laugh. But, I'll reserve judgement until I see the dog. If it's a little ankle nipper, Lisa can go fuck herself. Ankle nippers are annoying, but, not worth 5 mil for an attack. I don't care if it was on a flight. Ask the ankle nipping terrier who walked in here yesterday and got told off. I'm not suing my new neighbor, I just scared that little fucker into peeing on himself. Then I applied a band aid and went back to business. If it was J-Lo's dog it would have gone down the same..unless he was a Great Dane. Ramble, ramble..fantasizing about Jen and Marc buying me a new house. With a screen door. Oh, Hell yeah.

if she hurt her back so bad she needed surgery and can't work as a flight attendant anymore then there is big chance that she can't stand or sit for a prolonged time.
And who said that the dog attacked at ankle hight?

Sorry DD, don't agree. I'm a dog lover, owner and former breeder, but not everyone shares my love of dogs. Some people are terrified of dogs, big or small and any animal attaching itself to your pants can be really scary. If she really hurt herself by reacting and trying to get away from this pooch, I say too bad Jen.
If this woman was so injured that she can never work again, she needs compensation. I say at least what she would have made in the years remaining in her working career, plus pension, not more unless she has additional expenses due to her injuries and surgeries.
The dog should have been penned or dog crated in his favorite bed, private plane or not. Would have been better and more soothing for the dog and for the staff. Dogs love their own little space, they are wolf relatives after all and love their "dens". A plane ride is stressful for a dog and miss Diva should have taken precautions.
Don't know if it's true but I heard it was a guard dog, not a little lap dog. No matter. I love dogs but you have to be responsible.

Susan..you be right. I was just put out that I got bitten by a mutt. I've never been dog bit before, it was so annoying.
I'd sue her too! 5 mil is kinda ridic tho. But you gotta start high to get anything at all tho. I have no problem with this. Clebes need to learn they are at risk with their behavior which includes dragging their pets on a plane as a carry-on! Thats risky! You play, you pay!
