Miss Tia sent in these strange photos she took. One has what looks like an orb and the second one has something even odder. Two glowing red lights. There was no plane and no lights there. Spooky!
* Note..just put on the first one..Wow, that's some orb-tivity.

orbtivity, LOVE that word!!!
i really wonder who they are and why they're all gathered at my place! guess i got the spirit! haha...
i HAVE seen 'people' out of the corner of my eye around here though...i've seen the lady who lived in this house for 40+ years dressed and looking like she did in the 1940s walking from the bathroom to bedroom and back; i've seen men in seersucker suits walking down the street and a friend of mine's house has a man living there....
i'm gonna start going out at night and taking pix with the flash and see if more orbs show up!
I guess there could be logical explanations, who knows? I like to think of them of them as more spiritual. Reminds me of a pic I took in Jamaica, just the strangest picture, full of orbs and rainbows and rays all around this man... just the strangest picture. It was a pic I took of a person, he was our guide at the Shaw botanical gardens, I took two or three of him in sucession and this one, which was the first is the only strange one. DD, can I send it to you? It really is strange
anon 11:46---my pix were taken with a digital camera, no processing and i know basically nothing in photoshop (besides being able to crop!). i took some in quick succession where one pix has an orb and then the next--taken within SECONDS---has none....it's really weird...
I've seen an adult woman, man, and a small child around my house. This house was built in the early 1860s and the man is dressed in a suit, the woman is wearing a long dress with an apron, and the child, who I think is a boy, has a curly head of hair and wearing what looks like the pjs of the day. Only once in a while, and out of the corner of my eye do I see them. I believe you!
i read something somewhere that said the vast majority of spirit sightings are in your peripheal (sp?) vision....i forgot why though...
i wonder why that family is still there in your house? i think some of the people around here just liked it so much they decided to stay!
the long dress you mentioned reminded me that years ago i was driving home down a road...i past a cemetary and out of the corner of my eye i saw a woman sitting in front of a grave in a long black silk dress with long sleeves holding a white hankerchief. she was sitting on a log. after i passed her i looked in the rearview mirror to see what she was doing---cuz it was HOT out and to wear a long dress with long sleeves??? and NO ONE WAS THERE!
that was the oldest cemetary in streetsboro, ohio too....she must have been visiting a loved one...
them "orbs" you're talking about in these photos are easily explained as dust in the air...just take a look, when you're indoors and the sun is shining through the window...you'll see that the air is filled with dust...of course the outdoor air is filled as well, it's just eaiser to see indoors...what happens in these photos is that when one takes a pic, especially while dark and uses a flash...sme of the light from the flash will reflect back to the camera from these dust particals...sorry to ruin it for you...I do believe in paranormal activity as well...
i don't think it's stains on the camera lense cuz i took some pix within seconds of one with orbs and there's nothing there...then i took a whole bunch of pix with nothing there and then 1 had orbs in it....
combine that and you get light reflected by the dirt on the lense, creating that 'orbs'. Ask a photgrapher. Nothing 'paranormal'. Just someone in need of some wipes.
Anon 9:00....how do you explain pictures taken in succession in the same room, that have orbs in one shot and none in the next. No wipes used in between shots. No lighting changes.
One night I was taking pix with my digital camera outdoors and there were orbs all over the place in them. I do believe it's moisture in the air, darkness, and perhaps a flash that makes them. Sorry, no supernatural phenomena in the mix.
I live in the Hudson Valley in NY and my town dates back to the early 1700s, so anything is possible. I've been in this house for 12 years and during some renovations, we discovered it sustained some fire damange...maybe that's why they're here?
Just out of curiosity (and it may be too late to post this, you may not read it), but have you ever had someone close to you die and then felt them later on passing through your home, sort of saying goodbye? It happened twice with me, both my father and father-in-law (both died 15 years apart). But my older sister died in March and I didn't feel anything. She was adament about having her ashes scattered in Moab, Utah, and I sensed that once she died, her spirit left for that area. I think my father and father-in-law hung around to see how their families were doing before leaving for wherever they were going.
hi brett! nope, not too late to post for me to read it! (though i almost didn't scroll to the bottom of the page....you might not read THIS! :)
anyway, not peoples, but pets i have felt....i have seen some of my cats who have passed out of the corner of my eye just hanging out. i felt Molly once in the backseat of the car one day driving to the store. it was like she was there. i KNEW she wasn't there physically but i started crying and said "beast" (her nickname was beast) and turned to look back there ---even though i knew she wasn't there physically and then i didn't feel her presence in the car anymore.
the peoples i am close to, fortunately, are still alive.
i'm unsure if Molly was saying goodbye or not...she could have just been checking in....
a) even in a dark room is light b) even in a dark room is filth in the air c) with digital cameras the sensors are constantly and randomly firing. A lot of the logic in digital cameras is simply there to filter out that garbage. google for 'cmos sensor' and the physics behind it.

It doesn't have to be at night, in fact it seems easier to explain them in night light since there could be reflections, etc.
I've seen photos taken in daylight with large orbs in plain view. I suppose there's some "logical" explanation from some "expert" somewhere, right?
oh well then i'll take some during the daytime too....

Susan
can you post it online Susan? I'd like to see it too!
I used to think they were some oddity of photo processing or something, which is what I meant by "logical explanation".
But since it was pointed out to me that they occur in such varying circumstances, I've opened my mind to other explanations.
Would love to see your orb photos here too.
Sure! Send any pics you want. I love them.

Ok guys, I have sent it on to DD.
Susan
I just googled orbs and it looks like lots of people are fascinated by them. Interesting!

oh, of course, it could also be stains on the camera lens...I've had that happen myself...

Okay. I had chill bumps until I got to the dust and stain explaination. buzzkill.
helloooo? dust? a street latern?
