i like ABBA! And i like how they retired and stayed retired, not like so many bands who retire and then get back together every 2 years and say it's their last tour ever....

ABBA is way cooler because they don't regroup. LZ on the other hand are lame. As the rolling stones. When you are old, you shouldn't act like that. It just makes you look stupid - or greedy.
Hey now!!! Mick and the guys, and Robert Plant and Jimmy Paige cannot help it if they are still cooler than any of us could ever hope to be at any age, when they are all now old! I don't hate ABBA. I think they might be milking the "Mama Mia" movie publicity that is all over right now. In hopes to generate some sales of their old stuff. Good! I hope they don't come back. Ace of Base already was the reincarnated ABBA and that was enough!
i think Michael McKean has a great line in "This is Spinal Tap" about ABBA. "No...I don't like ABBA..." something like that. I love that movie!

I don't want to like Abba, but I have to admit their music is catchy and varied and original, so I respect that about them.
But, ya, he wasn't comparing Abba to Zep, was only illustrating how he felt about a reunion.
I guess this was DD's way of telling us she doesn't like Abba.
