Anyway, just my opinion of course, but most men don't need (nor want) to draw attention to their "package" in public.
As for Depp, he hits the beach occasionally... usually south of france-- but he's always wearing over-sized, long trunks.
Johnny Depp can't go to the beach in California, they have a no-smoking rule.
