That's my cat, Avrey. Avery was my sons cat, he loved her a lot and had her since she was a tiny baby. I'm allergic to cats, but, Avery is staying. It's the least I can do to make sure she has a good kitty life, here in her home. Avery is funny, she's old, but plays like a kitten. She's not graceful like a cat should be..she's clumsy and goofy. She falls on her head a lot which makes me laugh, but, I think she might be brain damaged. The more I tear this place apart, the more spaces she finds to play. Hey, Avery, there's a 'possum up there some place..sic it! Right...not unless it's holding a bag of Meow Mix.

beautiful kitty!
Awww, what a pretty little one she is. And it's so sweet of you to keep her even though you're allergic. I bet Lis loves playing with her.
You know, not all cats are graceful. Sam, my tomcat, moves like the A&W Root Bear, and I can't tell you the number of times he's tried to jump up somewhere, only to land on his butt. He ain't brain damaged; gravity's just not on his side...well, that and he's kinda, um, big-boned ;)

Some ppl think they are Allergic to Cats but if your Cat goes outdoors He or She brings in Allergens such as Pollen, Mold Spores, ect. on their fur. I wish ppl would take one of the Zillons of Allergy Medicines out there and quit bitching! I never heard of this whiney B.S until a few years ago. If it's not Allergies these days it's Bipolar Disorder, ADHD or Depression. I think America has become the Whiniest Country out there. God help us if something major happens. We do not have the Strength our World War One or Two Vets had.
Lets start by NOT blaming CATS for everything-
Avery in the walls reminds me that it's customary to leave a time capsule of sorts, like the signs you found, so the next person that opens up the floors and walls can find them. We just closed up a newspaper headlining Obama wrapping up the dem nomination in our wall. Oh, and one about legalized gay marriage in CA. Just watch: The next person will be some neo-con who will burn the papers in a fit of moral rage. Meanwhile, I don't suggest you leave Avery as a time capsule.
Cats make my eyes swell shut. At least I'm not fake-bipolar or afflicted with fake-ADHD. I gotta think you're just kidding, anon 4:24, because nobody with a brain thinks that those things didn't exist 100 years ago. They were probably undiagnosed or fell into categories like "Hysteria" for the ladies. 45 second Frontal lobotomies as treatment, anyone? That being said, the amount of people diagnosed with ADHD is pretty staggering, compared to even 20 years ago. Lazy diagnosis sometimes, I think.
Aww, what a pretty kitty!
I think by the time you get to be my age, you know what makes you sneeeze and water up. Cats and rabbits do that to me.
I love her!!!! I'm glad you are keeping her!!! She's all puffy!!!
Hey DD, try rinsing your nostrils/sinuses with saline solution morning and night: It works! You could get a neti pot or a drugstore equivalent. It's kind of tricky at first but pretty easy to get the hang of. It also cuts down on colds and sinus infections, which is miraculous for me. I haven't had a head cold in about a year and I used to get them all the time. Allergies are much alleviated, too.
