George Clooney just bought this
George Clooney is embarrassed by his eco-friendly car. He drives a electric one-seater Tango. He hates that it only holds one person. So he traded it for this electric sports car. The Tesla Roadster goes from 0 to 60 in four seconds. I love the idea of electric cars and now they're starting to perform more like gas cars. What do you think of it?

That's eco-friendly? Well, paint my ass and call me green.
My fledgling opinion regarding electric cars is that they're fine (although this one is ostentatious), as long as you're not fueling it with electricity generated by a nuclear or coal-burning plant. That would be sort of one step forward, two back, wouldn't it? And yeah, I know nuclear is supposed to be clean, but they still really don't know now to effectively deal with the radioactive waste...and then there's Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. Electric cars are a nice start, but we can do better.
