Katie speaks...

Katie Couric: “I find myself in the last bastion of male dominance, and realizing what Hillary Clinton might have realized not long ago: that sexism in the American society is more common than racism, and certainly more acceptable or forgivable. In any case, I think my post and Hillary’s race are important steps in the right direction.”

If I had a dick I could make out what she's saying, but, unfortunately I have a 'gina. You have to accept me and forgive me for that, unless your a minority. Dur. Oh, and who told this silly woman that she's sexy? They were lying. Wait, are there hemorrhoid fetish sites?

what a dorky pix!!

what the hell is she saying?? i guess she's trying to justify her horrible ratings by claiming it's sexism....

i watched her newscasts before and they sucked...she doesn't seem comfortable and that comes across....she was perfect for mornings, not evening news....

I agree that Sexism still exists out there but what I want to tell Katie and Hillary that you can have it all and by that I mean you be Attractive, intellgent, powerful and still be a Feminist.

and btw, I would also tell Hillary & Katie that this " It takes a Village Crap" has really caused problems for Women who have chosen, Career over Kids. I don't want to Pay for or Help Raise other people's bratty kids. That is their Parent's Job, Not the Teacher's, The Doctor's or anyone else in " The Community ".

Hillary's "It takes a village" concept is from her view of Gov. giving out entitlements.

Katie was given an unatainable goal; read serious news and act as bubbly as you did in the Today Show. She's not that likable and reading serious news at night takes a more stoic anchor. I think another woman could do it better.

Katie was making $7+ mil a year at The Today Show. Why give that up? She could retire now and still be a rich woman the rest of her days! Greed, it's all about greed. I dont care what she says. Greed and vanity.

6:52, That is what I am saying. I just added that " It takes a Village " also created this mentality of " Entitlement " and basically asks the rest of us to pay for everyone"s children> Which btw> is NOT my job!

Katie has weakened herself because of her pop tart personality. Hope Cambell Brown ( CNN ) sits up and takes Notice.

Oh that's lovely, let's have a competition to see which "ism" is more prevalent. All I know is that racist white people seem to think that all other white people think the same racist thoughts as them and then decide it's safe to come up to me and tell me some horrible joke or make horrible comments about blacks/hispanics/Jews/whatever. Racism is still incredibly prevalent.
