Old Lynne Spears gossip

source
Go back to 1975, Lynne Spears was driving her brother to the hospital because he'd had some injury that needed medical attention, in her haste she hit a 12 year old boy who was riding his bike in Kentwood, La. The little boy died. Lynne does not want to talk about it. No shit. Put that in your parenting book, Lynne. I'm sure the dead kid's parents will want a couple of copies.

Even if the death is accidental here, your still charged and serve some kind of sentence even if its suspended for community service and fines. Obviously LS wasnt held responsible in anyway. I doubt the kids parents look at it that way.

Now theres a interview about LS 'parental experience' id watch, one with the parents of the kid that died. That be juicy! I bet all kinds of stained knickers be aired out lol.

What a horrible thing to have happen. Every parents nightmare when our kids play outside near a street. Every time I see vehicles speeding down the street I give them the evil eye and make a gesture for them to slow down. With texting and cell phones and xm radio etc, there are too many distractions .

Awww jeez...thats kind of a low blow. In a panic accidents happen. That however is almost unforgivable. I say almost because we all can imagine what that agony must been like for her. And the parents of the boy! OMFG! I would want to kill her myself. My aunt accidentally ran over and killed her own child in her driveway when he was 3, many years ago, she too was on a run to the hospital. The agony changed her personality forever. Understandably. Something like this is the most unfortunate thing that could happen. I am surprised the Spears' stayed in Kentwood after that. Lynne couldn't have been much more than legal driving age at the time,if that! she was a kid herself. Probably knew the boy personally. This isn't about being a bad parent, it's about a tragic accident that changed 2 family's forever. This makes me soooo sad. Not a great way to start a Thursday. Breaks my heart.

1975 was different century. Laws are harsher now. That was such a different time. You can't compare that to 2008. Me & my bf were hit head on by a drunken driver in 1973. He didn't get in any trouble! We got sh** for it, zilch! And we were in a VW Beetle, nearly killed he was in a Ford Gran Torino! A big ass car. He stumbled out of that damn car and hitched a ride back to GD bar where he had just came from and told everybody he had just killed somebody and started drinking again! Someone with some brains called the cops, but we rode to the hospital in a car of a passer by before they got there. The cops didnt give a damn. He got off, we didn't get an apology even! We sued but didn't help anything. Times have def changed. Thank gawd!

wasn't it the enquirer who brought out Laura Bush's story of killing another driver?

is the enquirer so desperate for news they have to dig back in star's PARENTS histories???? or did another of britney's kinfolk sell her mom out?

Here Miss Tia: You are correct!!!

According to the two-page accident report, Laura Welch was driving her Chevrolet sedan on a clear night shortly after 8 p.m. on Nov. 6, 1963, when she drove into an intersection and struck a Corvair sedan driven by 17-year-old Michael Douglas. Although previous news accounts have reported Douglas was thrown from the car and broke his neck, those details were not in the report.
Douglas died. Laura Welch, of course, grew up to become First Lady Laura Bush. On the one hand, we suppose it's nice to know that people are so forgiving. On the other hand, there seem to be no lasting repercussions for famous people who commit vehicular manslaughter. Buckle up!

All this blab about Lynne Spears and Laura Bush...

What about MATTHEW BRODERICK?!?

Back in the 80's, the buggering-bastard killed TWO people (a mother and her daughter) whilst driving drunk in Ireland.

His punishment? A $175 fine. His bar tab for the night was likely more.

I'm amazed how no one apparently gives a shit about that case anymore. I, for one will never forget.

If someone dies as a result of your drunk driving... You've as good as committed murder. Bottom line.
