No photographs of little Sunday Rose have been released and Keith Urban says he and his wife, Nicole Kidman have no intentions of selling any. The couple says they understand the interest in their child, but, have asked paps not to flash cameras in her face. Nicole recently told radio station 2Day FM she and husband Keith Urban needed to be left alone “so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town”.

Nicole pleaded: "She’s tiny. She’s not a doll. She’s a like a real little thing. Just [don’t photograph] right in her face or in our faces because it’s scary for her. She’s tiny, a tiny little thing."

Keith said that photographers should not get "right in her face or in our faces because it’s scary for her"..."I get the interest there is. But at the same time it’s our little girl."

That's a very nice way to try and handle the problem, but, let's see if paps actually give a crap that they are scaring a tiny baby. They should, but, they probably won't. On the other hand saying they'd like to "show the baby their town" is odd. What month old newborn wants to see the town?

P.S. A month old baby is not going to "get the crap scared out of it" by some photographers!! It's a MONTH old! It can't even focus or see colors yet for shit's sake!
See what brangelina Started. It used to be no big deal, when a Woman had a blob/baby. Nicole mine as well do a Magazine Cover and get it over with.
This "celebrity baby photo" shit was started long before Brangelina... regardless, I'd sincerely like to see it END. It's ridiculous paying these fat-cat celebs zillions of dollars for something we're going to see eventually ANYWAY.
Seriously, do those competitive rags honestly believe if they don't pay for the pix... the babies will never see the light of day??? Besides, it's a fuckin' BABY. Frankly, I can't tell one from another.
It is quite known that if a baby isn't used to noise and then they are put in a noisy environment, they get very upset and cry - I would imagine the same would go for overload of visual.
Although hearing develops much quicker then eyesight for a baby -there are warnings about putting strobe lights and things like that in a crib with a newborn because the eyes do take time to develop.
The 1st 3 months a baby can't focus on anything more then about 10 inches away from them - all is blurry then. The developmental stages starts about 3 months and it takes 6 months for them to be able to focus properly and distinquish distance a bit.
The 1st few months the eyes are delicate, so I would imagine that 100 flashes going off in your face wouldn't be the best thing for a critical developmental stage for eyes.
Put yourself in the picture - When 1 picture is taken of me and the flash go off - it affects my eyes -what would a much stronger, bigger flash do and if that was muliplied by many - I certainly wouldn't like it and I don't think my eyes would either and I am adult and able to understand what is happening.

crystal.
ohhh I meant to say - I know Nicole has had babies and looks very comfortable holding hers, but I just thought the pic of Keith was so loving and adorable. He just seems to treasure his little daughter.

why are they such tight arses??? i can understand their desire for privacy but if they want their privacy so much why the F U C K don't they just give the paps a a photo of the fucking baby? a mobile phone photo will do, just give them what they want and then they will go away. either that or sell a photo for a shitload of money and donate it to a scholarship fund for our aboriginal people really.... its not rocket science.
