Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have rekindled the most boring romance of the century. Good for them. Notebook 2 anyone? Didn't the old lady die in that? I can't remember, my brain went dead after the first 12 minutes, but, maybe they can bring her back and she recovers her memory and the old man looses his and she has to explain it all to him from her point of view and it turns out he's a big liar and a wife beating drunk who pimped her out for shots of Scotch. I'd watch that.

My sister suckered me into watching "The Notebook." Or whatever it is called. I hated it and felt like I was going to barf at the end. And that had absolutely nothing to do with the 3 bottles of Champagne we went through (at her expense) to force me to watch it till the end. After several bottles of Champagne, I'm usually up for (just about) anything. This movie sucks a bag of dicks.
I agree. We are in the minority though.
Loved the book...really loved the movie. It's about love that lasts.
I LOVE The Notebook! James Garner is lovely in it. Gena Rowlands is good too, it's sad. Of course her son directed! But JG is precious in it 'Thats my sweetheart in there"...who didn't cry a little when he said that? That movie is a great movie. Sam Sheperds part was too small but the movie is great. Why be hatin' on it today DD?
"Sucks a bag of dicks"??? How perverted are you? That movie is about true love, some people just don't have the capacity to appreciate that.
The author is sooo nice. My son ordered a signed copy from him about 4 years ago for his girlfriend at the time for a gift because she loved it so much. Nice guy. And my son was super nice to do that for her, he should have given it to his sister tho, since he & the girl didn't stay together. But still the author is super nice.
DD, the old couple die together, in each others arms. She has a moment of clarity and asks him to stay with her and go with her. He does & they die as they sleep. It's sooo sad, I cry so hard when ever I watch it. How can anybody not love it? You'd have to be heartless. Regardless, they can't do another one.

So because I don't agree with your opinion of this movie I am perverted and can't appreciate true love.
Well, that's your opinion, and I still stand by mine.
I just prefer to live with my true loves (my husband and my daughter) in real life. I don't need a Hollywood movie to tell me what it's all about when I have it all right here.
