Three for Britney

Britney Spears, looking every inch a star, opened the VMA's without incident and took home three of the awards herself. Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, and Video of the Year for "Piece of Me." She combed her extensions, put on underwear and read the Q cards. What did I tell you? Congrats Brit. You can see her opening HERE, if you missed it.

BTW, she called the VMA anniversary, the "aniversity", but, I won't pick on her. I really don't think this girl knows that she IS the elephant in the room.

Well, since MTV doesn't even show videos anymore, how are people supposed to know who is who anymore? Brit did a good job. She looked great. I hope she doesn make a comeback. I was happy to see her with Larry Rudolph last night and she thanked him! He will get her back on track. When she was told to fire him she went downhill. He keeps her in line & she succeeds with him. He & her dad are usrely why she is doing so well now. Yay for Brit!
The show seemed to be coming from a high school gymnasium or something just as small. WTH? Is MTV going broke? Small crowd. Small venue. Where were all the stars that were there 25 years ago when MTV launched? The original VJ's? They coulda made a much bigger deal outta the history of MTV and they didn't. They have forgotten that everyone out there buying CD's isn't 12!!! Shame on MTV for forgetting all of us and the artists that were there way back then!

Aw man she looks amazing! But the aniversity mess up made me hide my face....ugh, I would have felt retarded. But she didnt correct herself turning it into a big thing, so it went okay...but still...

she looked good, like the old Brit. I'm glad for her. Kudo's to her father for stepping in when she so very much needed it. she could have been another Anna Nicole Smith in the making.
