Don't click that if surgery makes you queasy, but, it's interesting and most celebs have it done right in the delivery room. Britney Spears did. This is NOT Kate Gosselin, but, she had it done too and that's one freebie I don't begrudge her. After popping out 8 kids her abdominal muscles separated and that can be pretty uncomfortable and cause physical problems. Anyhow, it's interesting and I wish it came with all births. Women deserve it. They really do.
I'm actually off work right now cuz I had a Pannilectomy (tummy tuck) on Sept 23rd. No, i didn't drop a kid cuz as much as I look FAB in heels & a sequin gown, it would be kinda hard for me, LOL. I lost oodles of weight so had my panis, that lower flap of skin, removed. I can tell you that if someone has this done, they cannot life more than 5 lbs for 6 to 8 weeks and it's NOT possible to stand up straight for several weeks. Mind you...it's SO worth it cuz no matter how hard you work out, you'll never lose the excess skin. One great thing about living in Canada...after a total of 4 years, I've had my Gastric Bypass & tummy tuck and it's all covered. No, it's nopt as easy as it sounds but i'm forever grateful that I lost 220 lbs and have a life now!!! Air Kisses, Nellyboy
They're great. I had one, too. The only thing is that for several weeks after the procedure you walk around like you are looking for a quarter on the ground. It is really super hard to stand up straight. Amazing procedure, though, for those who can afford it.
Cool Nelly and anon, y'all need to send me some pics. I didn't need a tuck after my kids, I was lucky..but, I'm still waiting to have my boobies put back where they used to be.
K - I'll sound like a tard but i have no clue how to post pics, LOL I have 'em all on my FaceBook page which is the link below but no clue if it'll work for you or not. Air Kisses, NellyBoy
LMAO @ anon 2:36!!! right!?? -"looking for a quarter"...
I come from a family that wanted to chastise me for being vain. I lied and told everyone that I had to have a hernia removed that was caused by my pregnancy, all baloney, I just wanted to get my stomach off of my legs. I'm not considered thin by any means, but because of the tuck I have a "shape" and it's not a barrel. Worth every penny.
