Julia Hudson is blogging

Julia is doing whatever it takes to get through this tragedy. You can read it HERE. No one has the right to judge her right now.

I am not judging her. I feel for her tremendous loss and hope that she can recover whatever memories can sustain her emotionally, and patch her heart with the good moments she shared with loved ones. Those memories live forever in our hearts. Sounds like her environment was conducive to violent extremes. The suspect was arrested back in June with crack cocaine in her street after shots were fired. Although he was out on parole, a judge decided not to lock him back up. She wrote about "fuck with nothing ass ni**az and have babies" as what she likes to do. Very sad, but not unusual.

I don't judge her. At times of such horrific tragedy, a person would most likely reach out to others to express their feelings and sense of loss. The world has changed alot since Emily Post! No one will think ill of her for doing this. If they do, thats THEIR problem. DD, you were most gracious when you lost your own son this past year and posted the news the same day. It is heartbreaking but the world isn't just your next door neighbors anymore, the world is The World now!!! We can actually address the entire globe now with news and thank you's, wedding announcments, baby announcements, anything. And that includes unloading sadness when you need to connect. No one should judge anyone in this position. You don't want to ever walk in their shoes, so don't judge.

Remember Rosie tyrade when Tom Selleck was on her old talk show? It was all about guns & gun control. You could tell he wanted to pop her! It was embarrassing. She really behaved badly & was very rude to him as a guest. She has no filter from her thoughts down to her mouth.

No one has the right to judge anyone but I think there is a lot more info. yet to come. I would definitely say, drugs, shady ppl & bad choices for sure.

I know that I am inspired by the Obamas and Bill Crosby and I'm hoping that when President Obama takes office there will be a change in conscienceness about rap music, different cultures, morals & values. We really need to clean up our act in America.

I looked through her page, and she still has her family's murderer as her top 3rd friend and all his pics still up. People asking her to take his pics down, yet she hasn't done it yet. Also someones logging onto his page and updating shit, I'm guessing it might be her. She's probably all twisted up and still cares about him. Good lord, what a tragedy.

Her man had two other women on the side. WTF? is wrong with this woman? Look what happened to her kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not going to defend her or this kind of lifestyle. Obama & Bill crosby are right-

i thought it was weird too that his pictures were still on her site and he was listed as her #2 friend in a survey....

it would be very difficult to comprehend how someone you loved did that to your family, but he HAD served 7 years for attempted murder and had recently threatened her family....maybe i am judging her, but wouldn't that raise your alarms letting someone like that in your life??

i feel absolutely horrible for her and jennifer, but i just think it's odd that she's keeping his pictures up on her site and mentions of him....

i think there's going to be a lot more info coming out too....we will have to wait and see....

Lets stop being " complacent" about these things. It's not going to stop unless our leaders and more importantly AMERICA puts a stop to it. Go ahead & scream RACIST!!!! These ppl ( black, white, latino ect.) are like a bunch cock roaches who keep reproducing. They are not taking resposibility for their actions, leaving the innocent as victims

AMEN ANON 1:51.

removing right now would seem to place guilt on him. She can't do that. The best thing to do would just not show her friends at all. Or any pics. Except of her lost loved ones. There would be a way around it w/o seeming to accuse him as yet. It could come back to haunt her if he was charged & she had done that & someone called to jury duty had seen or heard about it. She may have been advised to leave that alone for now.

I am no racist, but this drug violence problem seems to be most prevalent in African american neighborhoods. When Bill Cosby went to Louisiana to talk to the 9th wrd and urged a change in lifestyle; they ran him out. Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and all teh grief pimps want to play race and victim politics.

Anonymous said...

4:19, that doesn't make you or anyone racist. I'm so sick of the race card b.s!

Bill Crosby & the Obama's are 100% correct. Clean up your act and stop talking ( Julia Hudson ) about fucking niggaz & making babies on your myspace page. Your sister should inspire you, now she's in pain. This mess happened while Jennifer Hudson was working 12-14 hour days trying to provide & help her family.

Someone finally said it. They (some blacks) don't want to hear what the Bill Cosby's of the world have to say. That would mean, no more money for having 6 kids with 6different daddies. Do they not realize how ignorant they appear, but yet the "white man" is still holding them back. BULL CRAP!!!

5:01, African Americans have soooo many opportunities to make a good life for themselves these days. White ppl are actually in the minority right now.

Look at Jennifer Hudson, the girl is talented but she also works her ass off!

Michelle Obama is another one, Mrs. Obama is so Jackie O! what a role model for EVERYONE!

It's time for change and that should include the rap music, the ghetto b.s & yes! the shitney ( and Jamie Lynn )spears trailer trash mess. I wish the media would stop glorifying the lack of respect, morals & values.

Michelle Obama? Come on already with that shit!! She's a malcontent and was difficult to work with at the law firm where she worked (her boss' own words), "proud of my country for the first time in my adult life", have you read her thesis? Come on already, I am black and there are plenty of other women who came from further and HUMBLY embraced their success. Michelle is Whoppy Goldberg with more smarts. I truly believe she may hold racist tendencies. Read her thesis and then write a comment.

what someone wrote as younger is not necessarily what they feel/think years YEARS later! people change, evolve, learn more, etc...

Malcolm X changed his position on white people, but people still fixate on his prior statements against whites...

people change, grow and evolve....how many of us have thought, said, written, did, etc something in our youth that we would never ever do now??? i'm raising my hand and i bet a lot of you others are too..

now back to julia hudson...she worked as a bus driver, that is not being lazy...

what woman hasn't made bad choices in men?

now i still wonder why she has william's pictures on her myspace, but as someone else pointed out, maybe she was instructed to leave them there....

not everyone is talented and can succeed like jennifer---nor do many have the patience and willingness to work that hard....so calling julia lazy and comparing her to jennifer is rather wrong....

Thank you Miss Tia, you are the torch of enlightenment. If you are referring to Mrs. Obama; she made the comments about being proud for the first time just a year ago. If you mean Julia; well she is living the typical story of so many black families stuck in a never ending cycle of drugs, sex, and crime. Accountability is not a college course Miss Tia. A bad beginning makes for a bad ending, and when you read her myspace you get the idea of what kind of lifestyle she led. Once again, no different from other black girls as young as 13.

Michelle hated whites while in college (read her thesis), and Barak sought out the "politically active blacks, chicanos, foreign students and marxist professors"--excerpt from his book titled Dreams of my father. Can you argue with their own words?.

Anonymous said...

the statement she made about being proud was taken out of context...

The average American IQ is supposedly 103, and her's is 102. Could have something to do with her partner choice....

Misstia, I usually agree with you & I love that you are an Animal lover too! BUT!!! I can honestly say that I would not date a man who tried to kill someone, dealt drugs and dated other women. This scumbag would definitely not come NEAR my kids.

Come on ppl! WTF???? This is a vicious cycle & the kids end up caught up in it too. Bill Cosby is 100% correct.

As for the Obama's, I personally do not believe it for a second. Barrack was raised mostly by his white grandparents, I do not believe he hates white ppl or would marry a woman who hated white ppl. I would need to see proof & not some faux news b.s.

Anonymous said...

hey, i wouldn't date a guy who was in jail for attempted murder either!! and if i had kids i sure wouldn't let someone like that around them!!

BUT, we do not know julia...some women pick bad men, maybe she was self-conscious about her weight, maybe she was self-conscious that she was a bus driver and her sister was famous?? we don't know her and i think considering that her son, mother and brother are dead, she should be given some slack right now...

Miss Tia;
Stop making excuses for everyone. God bless you for being kindhearted; but you're showing your naivete. "For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country". Not a lot of wiggle room in that quote. Have you ever seen anyone disavow more people in such a short amount of time as the Obama's?. He sat in a church fro 20 years that preached hatred for America and blamed whites for all injustices. Even Oprah left the church because she felt uncomfortable. I do appreciate your views Miss Tia, please don't take it personal.

TMZ reporting today that Julia's house was raided by cops in 2002 after Julian's father and Jennifer's brother sold crack cocaine out of the same house to undercover cops. Typical as we discussed.

I stumbled across this blog and read these comments and was astounded at the judgemental comments of so many anonymous posters. I thought that everyone learned as children that it is impossible to judge a person when you have not walked in their shoes. Why was Miss Tia called naive because she pointed this basic lesson out? No one here knows any of the Hudson family, so the most that SHOULD be said is how terrible a tragedy this is. None of you know Julia, so why speculate on the reasons behind her choices? And at a time when a family has suffered so greatly, the conversations about minorities and rap music are completely out of place. My prayers are with the Hudson family, and the small minded racists who found the need to post here.

Thank you gigi for your enlightening view into our persona. You read a short comment and make the assumption that the person is racist. Facts and data don't lie and they point at a lifestyle that is conducive to extreme violence and hereditary abuse of the system. Sorry for pointing out the obvious; but if you drive drunk you may get hurt, and if you deal crack out of your house you may get killed. I too feel for Julia's loss, her baby is gone. But ask yourself why.

There's nothing that can be done to change what happened, and all the bickering back & forth is ridiculous! Tragedies happen every day, difference is this one involves a celebrity. Every one makes judgment calls whether we admit to them or not. The whole situation is fishy, yet giving respect is the only decent thing we can do.

Miss Tia, what happened to your blog? How are we to know that you're the real Miss Tia?
