Nothing cracks me up more than spoiled fatassed over tanned debutant's whining about their $30,000 dollar gown that Daddy's buying them. But, letting Kate Gosselin whine about wanting TWO designer gowns is jumping the shark. This is just proof that if you have no pride, no dignity and you wine enough, you can get anything for free. I think she should remarry Jon wearing her frick ass bathrobe and sitting in that plastic lawn chair she loves so much. They should have a Folgers fountain and nacho chips at the reception and a shotgun pointed at Jon's head. They could use the same gun they used to get him to marry her lazy ass the first time. How do we know she is such an awesome mom? Do you know her personally? I used to ADORE this show, but felt disgusted when I found out everything that these two are getting just because they have 8 children. The list is endless: free trips, free chef, free housekeeping, free childcare, free million dollar home. If you have noticed, the key word is FREE and yet they sit on TV week after week talking about how difficult it is to be them. Let's see neither of them have a job, but are going to be sitting pretty in a couple of years because of the fact that they had sextuplets. Big Whoop. Rumor has it she knew exactly what she was getting and was a rude bitch to all those that tried to help her. How much do you wanna bet that the check she wrote to Ronald McDonald House was for less than $500.00.
why were you disgusted that they got things for free? they have never hid the fact that from the get go many things were donated to them. they did not plan to have sextuplets and when they learned of it obviously did exactly have time to make plans to make extra cash to support their upcoming children so they got a friggin show since they obviously are miracle babies and it helps pay the bills.

as a matter of fact, I have taken way beyond a 12th grade science class...I have a master's degree in Science. You can control alot when it comes to in vitro. You can control how many eggs are implanted into you. The more you implant the higher the chances of multiples. You dont' have to be a rocket scientist to know that.
As far as the freebies go, yes they have never hidden that, but they have also chosen to charge people and have people GIVE them Love offerings when they go to churches to speak and THAT is ridiculous. They also continue to cry poverty and accept gifts that people give them. Their kids have enough crap. How about donating all the used stuff to the needy. They make enough money already. How about they go out and get REAL JOBS like most parents have to do. They take advantage of those children and it is obvious to myself and others that her eldest chidren are not happy.
As far as the free home goes, do some research on the internet. TLC is giving them the house so that they continue doing the show. After a while, it will affect the children. It also affects the children when they are globtrotting the globe on their spekaing engagement and leaving the kids home and yes it is true..she did mention it on the show.

I'm glad that you want what's best for these children. With Jon working, they might have enough money to feed their kids two meals a day in a house without a backyard. There is no way Kate would be able to work: with that many kids, daycare would cost more than she could make. There would never be any special outings for the children, because they wouldn't be able to afford a big van, let alone the outing itself. Just going mini golfing would be impossible. I can't believe how mean people can be. None of you are having to pay for the "free" things they are given so why are you so worried about it. I love watching their show. Look at some of the other reality shows with the rich celebrities. They have NO MORALS at all but no one seems to care. Jon and Kate should continue to do what they are doing for as long as they can. Kate Gosselin is a confident and classy woman. When you have six babies in your belly for 30 weeks and then feed, change and care for them while caring for twins then you can state your opinion on wether she is lazy or not.

I had to watch the new question & answer show today Jan 19 09 out of curiosity, and both Jon & Kate said the only jobs they have is only the show and Kate writing a book every once in awhile.
Remember on an earlier show Kate did say The show is their life and their life is the show.
So in essence they are really saying the KIDS will be the ones supporting them especially now they have bought a 1.3 million dollar home and a condo in Park City Utah.

Alex their cute sound guy said the shows taped "LIVE" and what we see is what actually happens, The only thing thats really edited in is the words the kids say when others cant understand them or when whispering.

I have only seen the show once and that was enough for me. I was curious about where Mrs. Gosselin got the money for a high end designer wedding dress when, if she is raising eight children, I feel the money could be better spent. That is how I found this blog.
While I do agree any family with that many children does need support, from what I have read about this couple, it seems they are milking the aid and support for everything they can. What annoys me is we are all helping to pay for it. Every time we pay our cable or satellite TV bill, a portion of that money goes to TLC to buy their programming, which in turn is filtered down through the corporation to those on salaries including the Gosselins. Every time we shop at one of the businesses that advertises on Jon and Kate Plus 8 we are supporting them. So yes, to the person who said we are not paying for them, we are, and this is not fair to those of us who do not watch their show.
What bothers me the most, however, is there are people in this country living below the poverty level who struggle to feed, house and clothe their families. Yet just because this couple chose to spend the tens of thousands of dollars it takes for fertilization clinics and they produced a litter of six they think they are deserving of all the free things and money they receive? Then to top it off, these two have the audacity to flit around the country speaking at churches and accepting "love offerings," for their speaking engagements. Love Offerings? These "love offerings" are coming from the poor Appalachian father of eight who is making less than $10,000 a year and form the 80 year old widow on a fixed income who eats tuna and pasta six days a week because it is all she can afford. Yet the Gosselins seem to have no problem taking their money so join can go out drinking with college coeds or Kate can flit off to New York and buy a $50,000 wedding dress for her SECOND ceremony.
These people need to stop being glorified beggars. Isn't Mr. Gosselin supposed to be some type of IT tech? The last I looked these jobs were still in high demand and pay very well. Let him go to work for a living like the rest of us. How is it going to affect those poor kids when they grow up being taken care of by any number of strangers who traipse through their house. How do they feel when they see their parents, who are supposed to be role models, not working or even caring to work for a living. They will grow up expecting the world is going to take care of them and when the realization that it is not finally hits them they are going to need years of therapy, if mom and dad left them any money to pay for said therapy.
Yes, I agree that these children do need our sympathy, and this family does need our support but not for the reasons stated. Any one of us should be as bad off as "poor Jon and Kate." At least those other lunatics on TLC that pop out a kid every ten months instill a work ethic in their kids unlike the Gosselins, unless conning people is now considered work.
to the people who say that without the show jon and kate and their kids would not survive because they wouldn't even be able to afford daycare ... i grew up with 5 siblings (max 6 years apart), my father and mother both worked, and we all had a great time growing up. even if we didn't get vip passes for every theme park, we were still happy kids in a stable household. if my parents could make it work sans reality show, why can't jon and kate?
It doesn't matter what any of us think! We aren't able to exploit our 6 kids like they can. But who knows, any one of us could've done the same thing if given the oppurtunity. Maybe they started out with good intentions and things got out of hand? I'd like to think no one would do that to their children intentionally. I used to be a big fan but once I heard all the rumors, true or not, it soured me on the whole thing. I think everyone should get a life and find someone new to complain about.
