Who else watched this last night? I just thought it was so dumb, none of the characters are likable. They're just slow people. What's funny or endearing about that? If I wanted to waste my time with dull I'd go to a chat room. I'll give it another chance, one more chance, but, come on..what do you guys think of it?

Kath & Kim not impressing me
Who else watched this last night? I just thought it was so dumb, none of the characters are likable. They're just slow people. What's funny or endearing about that? If I wanted to waste my time with dull I'd go to a chat room. I'll give it another chance, one more chance, but, come on..what do you guys think of it?

OK...I guess Perez or Jared is not much different. All are the same anymore. Didn't used to be like that. Its just my own personal opinion. Don't get so shitty! *sigh* Too bad there are only 2 ppl in all of Hollywood worthy of all the bloggers time! Not worth mine tho! TaTa!

changing the subject here...Evil Beet is reporting about Hef's new twin GF's. Their methed up mug shots & the story are just too fabulous!!! VERY recent mug shots I might add. Amazing. Wow.
Back to Kath and Kim...
...I won't watch it. I am a tremendous fan of The Foxy Morons from the Australian original. There is just nothing that translates well in the American version.

I taped the show last night and watched after my regulars. This one will not become one that I will watch again. Just not funny...it is suppose to be funny isn't it?

yeah the aussie version is much funnier. its a pity they couldn't capture that. the same thing happened to absolutely fabulous, the british version was hilarious but the american version didn't translate that. if you want to see a very good american equivalent watch my name is earl. i think that translating cultural humour might be too difficult. i can't imagine my name is earl being done as well by australians or british. sorry dd that the tone of your blog has been lowered by lame brained 'anonymous' comments. hope they leave you alone soon.
yes the lame brained anonymous commenter/s might be better off posting 'first' 200 times on perez hilton's blog. because thats about all their comments are worth. what makes your blog so good dd, is not just your wit and humour, but the fact that your audience can participate. i hope you never get to be as big as perez.
Didn't love it but I do love the players so I shall watch it again...sometimes it takes a bit of time for shows to fall into a groove. As an example, I didn't like the American "Office" at first and now I think it's A-OK.
Liked it. Thought it was funny, especially when the mom "cheated" on her boyfriend by eating a sandwich from another place in the mall's food court.
The director was trying to be artsy though, and wouldn't hold the camera still. That was annoying.
Will watch again though. Sometimes it takes a few episodes for a show to find itself.
