i have to say they are more 'real' than kate has 8 kids gimme gimme gimme gimme....they duggars spend time with their kids, teach them values, and as far as i've seen don't have an organic chef and take exotic trips....

eek...can't believe i'm defending super xtians! but you should watch the clip on youtube from the christmas show....taking the kids grocery shopping, making gifts, etc...good values....

I can't find it in my black heart to hate on these people.

OMG. The dresses look like a home economics project gone terribly wrong. Even the play outfits in Sound of Music made from old drapes look better than these outfits.

I wonder if they get Government cheese?

Miss Tia..How do you think they went to NYC? $3000 just for air fare? That bus is theirs. Most of us could not even begin to affoird to rent it! He supposedly makes $20G a year. So, Santa Claus is alive and well for the Duggars!

Last year they sent them on a vacation out west and to Disney World. There is no difference.
None of the children in either family seem damaged by their lives.

I think there are a lot of green eyed monsters out there.

If you want to get upset, go to womens shelters, or volunteer at inner city schools and see some legitimate pain and damaged kids, and maybe you can help them.

I'm not sure how much those kids get out into the real world...although I can understand why the mother does home school them.

Can you imagine her life if it included soccer and ballet and music lessons and her kids going 13 different directions visiting friends etc!
