Kind of gets to you, doesn't it? I know, I know, she's totally using his story to gain attention for her causes, but, it's working. No child should be hungry.

A lady in my neighbourhood adopted two girls from Russia. Big sis and little sis.(She was originally just going to adopt the little girl. When they went to the orphanage it turned out that she had an older sister, but as they had allready adopted a little boy earlier, having two girls was not in their plans.But seeing big sis trying to pry the little one off from her and telling her to go and have a better life just broke their hearts and they ended up adopting them both.) Sorry for going off topic but I thought was so heartwarming. Anyway, on topic, the mom kept finding food in the older girls room that she was hording eventhough she kept explaining that she would never have to be hungry again.
Another friend of a friend adopted a little girl from Kazakstan and she would refuse to get in the bathtub because at the orphanage they used to bathe them in ice cold water.
In russian orphanges they tape the babies mouths together so that they can't cry...A child should never have to suffer like that...
It's f'g cold as ice in Russia. Not a good place to be born. A neighbor of ours adopted a baby girl from Russia. She just happens to look exactly like the mother! She has won little local beauty contests at festivals, she's darling. She has 3 or 4 brothers that were home waiting on her when she arrived from Russia to join their family. Nice family. Very wealthy. Beautiful child. Pax is the cutest kid AJ has!
Very cute little guy. Very sad story. No matter what we think of Jolie, I think she truly loves these kids and they will have a tremendously brighter future than they'd have had without her. No one can dispute that.

Also! the kid was in an orphanage until he was 3, the orphanage there DOES HAVE FOOD! Ialso recall this kid screaming, hysterically! when hemroid lips came to buy him.
methinks brangelina has movies coming out or that the need some good publicity.
Those people don't know for sure that there will always be plenty of food, etc.
If the kid wants to save some for later, why doesn't she just give the kid a plastic bowl with a lid instead of making a big deal out of it?

The Changeling is about a mother that loses her son. This mother uses her son to promote it, subtley. Or not so subtley! I think we all see thru her veil of motherliness.

She is campaigining for an OSCAR. If she really cared about those kids, then she wouldn't keep pimping them out to the media EVERYTIME thay have a movie or cause to promote. Seriously, how many other actors keep reminding the public that they are "loving and devoted" parents? They are making a mockery out of parenthood. Here's the test, how many interviews can AJ give without talking about those kids as if they are "props"?
Those kids are not orphans anymore, so she should stop using their story to promote herself.
Pax has been living with them for how long now? If he is still trying to "save food", then isn't that a reflection of what is going on in AJ's household and not what happened to him in the orphanage? She should just stop talking because she only makes herself look bad when she spouts nonsense like this. By food, she probably means cheetos.
If the kids are hording food, then is it because she/BP have instructed the nannies (because they only spend time with those kids when they have a movie to promote) to not give these kids very much food to eat? Or they are not giving the kids meals that will keep them full or statisfied. Someone needs to question her when she says things like this. She thinks that it makes her look good, but in reality it just shows that she is not good at being a mother.
She doesn't eat dinner with those kids. What constitutes dinner? Walking down the street in NO eating a bag of cheetos?
I used to have a friend that would give her kids a bag of mini-marshmallows & tell them that was dinner. Because she had went shopping & spent all the grocery money on expensive clothes for them & her to wear! Her kids did look like orphans tho, soooo skinny! No nourishment. I agree with 4:09 & 5:09. That comment = bad mom!
I don't understand the bad mom comments from the last few posters, based on what?, your hatred of someone you don't even know?
I think your grossly uninformed when it comes to the dynamics involved with some children adopted from 3rd world countries or abusive situations. Her children weren't enfants, they had experiences and retain instinctual reactions, even if they don't remember specific's in some instances. It's so much more complicated then that. Pax has only been with them, what a year or a little more then that, he seems to be doing remarkably well all things considered.
That is very sad and he is a cute little boy but his hair just looks horrible, greasy and stringy! In the People photo shoot it was refreshing to see uneven fingernails and chipped polish on the girls but Pax looks like he is never bathed to me.
