Britney, she's a prisoner

Everybody is posting this, and I do mean everybody, and like my mom used to say when I was a kid, if everybody jumped off a bridge, does that mean you have to? And I thought she was giving me sound advice, so I went and found the biggest bridge I could get and jumped off. I don't never learn nuthin', Ma..

Britney: (Her life is like jail) "There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day. "

"I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I’ve learned my lesson now and enough is enough. "

The special airs November 30th on MTV and I'll be watching, because everybody else will.

so she wants to be set 'free' so she can shave her head again? and flash us her bald poon?? or maybe she wants to revisit holding her son hostage???

it sounds to me like she is still very sick....i think rushing an album and possible tour is not good for her right now...

Honey, it's called life. We all live in our own personal prison and have good days and bad days. We all live with the choices we make and the outcomes thay bring.

Not everyone can handle fame and fortune.

Sorry DishyDo, NOT everybody.

As a kid she had no idea her life would be this controlled and I feel sorry for her. You can have all the money in the world and not have one moment of the freedom of anonymity (sp?). Greedy parents with no talent of their own, not thinking of the kids, but of themselves. This is what happens.

Remember the movie "Poor little rich girl" it was about Gloria Vanderbilt. Good movie!!! Sooo true too.

It kind of sounds like she might be on meds for manic-depression. Those can really dull a person's senses to the point of sort of a flat-line while maintaining sanity. She'll probably have to take them forever.

Boo Hoo. It does not take a PHD to know that when you sign-up for stardom there is a price to pay.

No such thing as a free lunch. Everything has a price associated.

she sounds clinically depressed or somewhat manic.... why the hell isnt she in therapy? and i dont mean that re-hab coz o drugs& alk shit.... i mean real deep pysche pummeling help. in the brain.

Her parents signed her up so as a child she had no Godly way of knowing what it would be like. Give your boo-hoo to someone else who asked for this. She really didn't, and although she's reaped a lot of financial benefit from it and fame I don't think if she could've looked into the future she would've done it.

DOES ANYONE HAVE COMPASSION FOR A PERSON WHO IS VERY SICK?? SHE HAS A SERIOUS PERSONALITY DISORDER! TRY LIVING IN SOMEONE ELSE'S SHOES!

Anonymous said...

I CAN HAVE COMPASSION FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SICK AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION AND STOP TYPING IN CAPS...

wtf??? she could have said NO to doing this doc and if her family weren't so obsessed with HER money, they would actually care about her and not have her doing an album, possible tour and this interview right now....

she wants to be 'free'?? well stop being in the public...lay low for a year or two, get professional help---including counseling and learn to be a parent....take responsibility for flashing the bald poon, doing drugs, shaving the head in public, beating a car with an umrella, holding the kid hostage, being a bad parent, etc and realize that the illness caused part of that and the other part is realizing 'gee, i need help and will need help the rest of my life'....instead of 'i feel like a prisoner'....

why can't carrie fisher help britney get sorted out??? carrie is on numerous meds and yet is still creative and funny....

'no excitement' like using designer dresses to smear around dog shit, being drugged by an asshole and stealing stuff?

Britney, welcome to reality. If you are a nutjob, others will decide for you.

Such grossly uninformed comments, to say nothing for unkind.

Carrie Fischer is a good suggestion, but I think that Carrie has so much more going for her than does poor Brit. Carrie had DR as a mother and look who poor Brit has.

Anon 10:11- No I don't have overwhelming compassion for her. Like someone else said it's called life. I am in a much worse situtation health wise than she'll ever be. I'm only 26 and I don't whine and complain like she does. It's frustrating for those who have real problems to read comments like hers.
