Yeah she always seemed stable to me too, thought she was an actress with alot of staying power and a long career. Isn't Xanax a anti-depressant?

no, i'm not kidding, i don't take Xanax and i don't know anyone else who takes it either.
No it's not a antidepressant, xanax unlike anti depressants don't need to be taken on a regular schedule (unless perscribed by your doctor for your specific needs).
Xanax is an anti anxeity medication. In higher doses helps with panic attacks as well. Most people who take them rely on them for times of high stress and calming down.
As for Ryder, oh man she's been a case for years, it's just that 20 years ago the stuff she did wasn't as public as things are now for the celeb world.
