She thinks the governments will pay attention to this. She has good intentions, bless her little botoxed heart. But, listen up..if you're getting jacked in the face by your old man every week, he doesn't give a crap in a bucket what Nicole Kidman thinks. He might just tie one on and kill you next time. So, instead of cheering about signatures, you should take self defence classes, get a gun, and make googly eyes at that nice Marine down the street. Get some balls and leave..with your kids and your gun. Sure, some of you will start harping about my ignorant simplicity and bla bla-ing women’s human rights on a worldwide scale. Equality won't do you a bit of good when you're dead and your kids are in foster care. And I'm telling you straight up..Hollywood stars don't have a clue.

What do the promoters think will motivate any of those back-asswards sons'a'bitches to outlaw wife-beating, et cetera, as a part of their pre-historic lifestyles?
Most of those nomadic goatherds actually reward violence against women, don't they?
A lot of the women are, also, violent towards one another, are they not?
We'd better try to make sure that those cave-dwellers don't popularize their religious, hand-cuttin', clit-cuttin', bullshit in this country.

Ps. Kidman and others mean well and i applaud them for trying, but they are so far removed from knowing what the day to day reality is in an abusive home.
They never have to utter the words & know the anxeity of, "i have no where to go & we will loose everything". If a star stays in the crappy relationship it's not because they won't have a roof over their heads or kids go hungry if they face facts and leave.
No, I agree with you DD. Kidman means well but she can collect all the signatures in the world and it won't do crap. People who are involved in setting up shelters and help units for women and children leaving abusive homes are the ones who are really doing something. So many women who suffer from abuse have very little money and nowhere to go.
Yep. I'd be inpressed if she let an abused wife and kids stay in her guest house until they got their shit together.
