There is something terribly wrong here
You have to see this. Sarah Palin talking her shit and saying how neato it is to be there while some moron kills turkeys behind her. I don't know who's being punked here, but, that is not how we kill birds. It takes forever and is disgusting. WTF is this all about?? If this is how commercial turkeys are killed, count me out. I'll just have mac and cheese this year. I'm a farm girl..trust me..this aint right.

I love me some Turkey anytime I can kill and fry one up outside. At the end of the day I like to count how many animals I have eaten. Lamb, suckling pig, venison, and quail- that's what's up this weekend. PETA really stands for people eating tasty animals in my house.

I don't have time to be out hunting & killing my dinner. You gotta haul it home. You got all the mess of cleaning it's guts out & disposing of all that and the carcass. when I see pigs, goose or chickens I become hungry. And yes, I know that this animals are killed. I have been inside of a slaughterhouse more than once. It doesn't bother me.
People who are bothered by that simple fact (you have to kill an animal to eat it), are completly out of touch with nature.
I don't know, I was raised on a farm and we found that turning poultry upside down (you can cut the bottom off a milk jug and invert them with their heads through the top) makes them go unconsious. It's a lot easier to bleed them out or decapitate them this way and then you don't have to chase the jumping body all over the place. I also seen it done my holding their heads immobile and shoving a paring knife into their beaks to bleed them which I think is crueler than the aforementioned method.
