Reminds me of my youth when my mother would get a live tree and spray paint it some odd color. One year, the tree was red and all the ornaments were blue. The combinations were endless... blue tree/white ornaments, white tree/green ornaments and on and on and on.

My mother's taste could most closely be described as Vegas Chic.

Destroying the ozone?..... Causing genetic damage to kids and pets???????? Ummmmmmmmm....the hell?........cite your source, please. And why is it that EVERYone of DD's posts, somebody gotta bitch? Holy shitballs, if ya don't like it, why do you come here to read?

"cite your source?"

Don't you know a troll when you see one, 8:48? Besides, all this crap about 'citing sources' re: comments on a small midwestern-based celebrity/gossip/entertainment blog is for the birds!

hey anon @ 8:48- Are you for real? What do you think this is, a cyber quilting bee? As far as celebrity blogs go, it's easily one of the most rude and sarcastic I've come across in a long time. And comments from the peanut gallery that come off as bitching, snarking, disrespectful, and/or insensitive---- are pretty much par for the course.

Now kindly go fuck yourself.

Anon 9:19--YOU FIRST. Unless you're too busy fucking your MOTHER. "Quilting bee"? yeah, it's real easy to be all American Badass behind a keyboard, ain't it? Just fucking DIE already, you worthless piece of shit.

I don't, but my sister might.

I come from very dysfunctional roots and many of our family photos from when I was a kid were destroyed during one of my parents' more livelier disputes. But she was doing the stupid tree thing long before I was born and I have a sister who is a lot older than me, who married and moved out while I was little. She may have some.

I remember one Xmas where my mother was mad because my Dad cut down a tree that was too tall. After she bitched at him for about 20 minutes, he finally agreed to cut two feet off the tree to make her happy.

He cut two feet off the top.
