Cruise tells Matt Lauer "I was arrogant"
Yeah, he was. Tom has since apologized to Oprah, Brook Shields and about everyone in Hollywood. Cruise seems to realize he's not well liked anymore and is on a personal crusade to make himself look better in the public eye. And he has a loser movie out. But, you know what? Matt Lauer is beating this thing to death. Matt will always be "that dude on that morning show" and Tom Cruise is Tom Fucking Cruise. I may not like the little fucker, but, he IS a star. Shut up, Lauer. Enough. Get a grip, Tommy.

Yes, he would do well, career=wise, to just keep his opinions to himself and make good movies.
My daughter, who grew up watching him, loves him and can't wait to see this new movie of his.
I don't know that I will be going to see it, though.
Jer, my 25 year old son cannot wait to see it! He loves history and WW2. And he saw the trailer at the movies last weekend and he said it looks awesome. He will go see it. Tommy has obviously been counseled to shut up, he was making his religion look bad as well as himself look insane. I hope he STFU and makes some more good movies too so I can rent them for $1 at Redbox!
