Melanie is my default "WTF" when it comes to aging. I can only guess that it was drugs, ciggies, booze, and Don Johnson combined with sundamage, self-depreciation and insomnia that made her age like a pair of worn out sneakers left out in a field for 50 years.
That was great DD. I love the mindless chatter. She's such an idiot. He's waaaay too good for her. How she landed him is one of those puzzles unable to be solved by modern man or science.
Again, I can't understand why these women of a certain age are doing this to themselves just because they have the money. They don't look better. They look inhuman and freakish and so much worse. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but British women don't seem to feel the need to do this to themselves to get work in movies. And I don't think we see Blythe Danner or Merill Streep (forgive my spelling) with this look. Melanie made herself ugly.

She eventually is gonna end up looking like the cat lady.
I truly think he would love her wrinkles and all. She really needs to stop - I think it is making her look worse.
