Lissa got a lot of really nice gifts for Christmas but all she wanted was Cars stuff and she got it here. She was thrilled with the Radiator Springs racing set and Speedy McQueen remote controlled car. She said "Santa DOES listen, he does!" Well, of course he does, geez. I think he's in cahoots with Disney/Pixar but, who cares? The grin on her face over the Cars stuff (and hearing her scream "TOO-TWEEN!) was my present. She also opened the new clothes I got her and was polite. She must have gotten in trouble somewhere else. Last night she slept in her Barbie Princess pup tent and matching sleeping bag...with Too-Tween. Now that she has all her loot, I don't know what I'll threaten her with.."Santa's watching you" won't work. The Easter Bunny maybe?

Thanks for posting this, Disher. It made my day.
I loved seeing the photos of Lissa last year (especially the make-up/nail polish kit that was intended for her momma!) and I'd hoped you'd share a few from this Christmas too.
There's nothing in the world like finding exactly the toy a child wants (for a great price!), watching them squirm for weeks wondering if they'll get it and then seeing the look of sheer joy when they open it.
It really is all about the kids, isn't it.. and no doubt they'll remember it forever.
well....there's lepracahns [sic?] for st.patrick's day...or cupid for st. v's day..."cupid'll shoot in the butt with an arrow and you won't get candy if you don't behave"....
thanks for posting the pix of Lissa with her gifts!

It really is a gift to see a smile on the face of a child and to know they are happy.

Hey Santa watches 12 months of the year, but the Easter bunny should work too lol.
So glad to see you had a great Christmas DD. It is spectacular watching the smiles and laughter of the kids and I knew Alissa would make your Christmas brighter
Laughing at the "clothes and her being polite" - I hear ya lol.
