O'Reilly And Kelly In Fiery Debate Over Washington's Atheist Display
Bill O'Reilly has his old pannies in a knot because Atheists put up a sign at the capital that says "At this season of the Winter Solstice may reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."

I got a real kick out of his outrage and the couple the news crew talked to in that second clip. They were an upper class American couple, just wringing their hands with worry over the "long term consequences" of someone saying there's no God right out in public!
Geez Louise and a blinking star. They should all just do like I do and say, you know, I like lights in December. It tickles my funny bone when we're all supposed to think like someone else and how dare we not believe!!! Santa isn't bringing Bill O'Reilly jack doodly this year.

Gov. Gregoire made it clear that she's allowing that "display" just as she is allowing all the other "displays". It's fair. I personally don't see anything offensive in that sign. Oh, and it got stolen by the Christians!!!!! um, thou shalt not steal ring a bell?
What bothers me is that self righteous OReilly asked people from all over to call in the governor's office, like our state employees had nothing better to do. And not to mention that IT'S NOT YOUR GOVERNOR MORON YOU DON'T GET TO COMPLAIN!!!!!! Bottom line the FFRF pays as much taxes as you and I they can put up whatever display they want to if other are doing the same thing.

I am also of the opinion that I like lights in December. I celebrate a bunch of stuff including Chanukah and Solstice. light is the common thread that binds all of us in the holiday season. Chanukah is also the Festival of Lights. I believe that everyone hasthe right to believe what they believe, however also feel it's stupid and inflammatory to bash everyone else's religion while you're doing so. The atheists have every right in the world to their sign but it's really crappy that they had to trash others with beliefs @ the same time. IMO.

I'm with Cupcake. I think it was a very cheap and inflammatory thing to do next to a Christian display. You can have your own beliefs, but don't bash someone else in doing so. Uncalled for. There is enough unrest in general, right now. Let there be peace.
Funny how we argue about displays and naming holiday parades so not to insult anyone. I saw kids in Mexico city scraping an avocado peel to get something to eat and decided to stop giving gifts to people who don't need them. I greet and give well wishes, but give away to the needy.

Bill-o is a grown man with the temperament of a spoiled six-year-old. He is always tuned to the rant and rave channel. I doubt Mr. Falafel-Sexual-Harasser is a very good example of Christian values...or is he?
People who whine about the hijacking of Christmas have got to be kidding. They should learn how to share with others seeing as this time of year that many religions and non-religions celebrate their holidays.
"Happy holidays" is a perfectly fine thing to say to someone instead of just "Merry Christmas" unless you're in a Christian church or something.
Relax people, let the Atheists have a crack at the season, too. If you're a Christian, be satisfied in your faith and beliefs and be confident enough to let other people believe what they will.
