The AP is reporting Tina Fey's husband has revealed how she got that faint scar on her face. Apparently, a stranger walked up to her when she was five and slashed her face while she was playing outside. He says Tina never wanted to talk about it for fear of exploiting the situation.

Like Jeanne Tripplehorn and Amanda Redman, Tina Fey's scar doesn't detract from her appearance.
Soon, it may not even be noticeable, because age will blend it in with other facial lines.
As a matter of fact, I've never noticed it before.
