Chris Brown's apology

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” says the Chris Brown. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writing under my name are frauds.”

There you have it. Some apology, huu? He lets us know that the reports and "speculation" are all wrong. I speculated that Rihanna has a broken face. I guess I'm full of it, huu, Chris? And he didn't say stupid things on Facebook. Someone must have gone to a lot of trouble to hack his account and then all they wrote was "You'll see her true colors. Believe it!" Yep, hackers are stupid. Gee, Chris I believe all that, but, I dispute one teensy thing here. I've been told by those who know these things that God has priorities. Kate Gosselin needs new furniture and Nadya Suleman needs a book deal. I guess you'll have to stand your teenage woman beating ass in line.

I think we should find someone who outweighs him by a hundred pounds to put him in a phone booth and beat his ass for five minutes.

It wouldn't take a 100 pounds trust me, abusers are affraid & insecure of everything when it gets right down to it, thats why they bully to begin with. He's a pathetic and anyone who buys that im seeking counsel crap is just as pathetic. Auntie jane and uncle joe can't advise you out of this one unless they happen to be lawyers and therapists.

Weasely, little woman-beating bastard.

If Rihanna takes him back it will be at her own risk!. Next time he may not stop at just a beating.

yeah yeah just wait til he gets the booze & coke into him again...he``ll be whackin another chick around in no time.... dudes like this, once they hit a woman, they just dont`t stop overnight. There`re deep issues inside these kinds of bastards that burst out in violence & it rarely happens "just once" and "never again".i took two beatings from an asshole who could only hit when he got frustrated ,angry ect (a no booze or dope, the prick was clean)
before i said "no more"..... ever again.

i bet the statement he REALLY wanted to release was : "bitch deserved it" or "she made me beat her" or "i only beat her cuz i love her"...

if he really seeks council - why doesn't he seek professional help? Pastor? That is the weasal way to pacify the religious crowd. But sorry shit eater, that won't fly with me.

Anyone who believes "Chris" actually wrote that is as crazy as he is. What he DID write was the update to the Facebook page... as Disher very correctly pointed out.

The pundits and legal experts have been all over this story since it broke, and they've made it clear that if this kid's handlers were smart they'd do exactly what they've obviously done; Hire a public relations "crisis/recovery" team whose first order of business in rehabbing Chris' soiled image would be to release a carefully- crafted statement of his abject "remorse and sorrow."

Next up, he'll go into intensive treatment for "anger management". From there, perhaps a substantial 'donation' to battered women's shelters... maybe even volunteering for community service.

Rihanna's cooperation and forgivness will be *key*. Regardless of whether or not she actually forgives him, she'll eventually agree to it in order to 'play down' this nasty scandal for the sake of BOTH their careers.

Ultimately, he'll plea-bargain the court case down to nothing (if he's formally charged at all) and at the end of the road he'll emerge perhaps less "babyfaced and innocent", but with his former reputation--- as well as his career--- intact. Wily little fucker.

I Betcha.
