Well, they got the dogs. Kate made it clear she doesn't like dogs, but, she got two of them. She insulted the breeder, "bla bla bla in my ear, I remember thinking, stop talking to me with your bla bla, I'm never calling you!" But, ratings dropped and she did call him. Mady screamed because she didn't get to name them. Mady screamed because she didn't get to pick them out. Kate could have let her do one of those things for one puppy, but, then Mady wouldn't scream. Kate knows good TV. Mady seemed to love the pups and took a break from kicking the living shit out of her brothers and sisters to nurture the little canine wonders.*
Kate held one pup up and instructed it to never pee on her carpet. DO YOU HEAR ME? Then it licked her nose and she screamed "NO! I'm not ready for that." More screaming when they got home. The pups, who'd never been inside before and never been away from their mother, piddled. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Screamed Kate. They're going back! I'm not joking!

Now Kate says they're six weeks into dog ownership and she made it clear, she's exhausted. The dog have gotten bigger and they are biting the kids! Nipping and chasing them, some of the little ones are scared of them. They are chewing up everything. Why didn't someone warn Kate!? Poor Kate. Mady loves the puppys. Jon says he loves the puppies very much. Awww. Kate said, hmm, that's interesting. Which means, get the fuck out of my life, puppies. Soon we'll see the episode where they give them away...and get new carpet. I hope Mady gets my sympathy card.

And in all fairness to Super Mom Kate..she just said she'd try dog ownership. She never said she'd commit to it. She tried parenting..she never commited to that either.

What the hell was this breeder thinking letting these two sweet puppies go to the moron parents of all time??? I'm calling the GSD rescue people in PA to complain about this. They can't even take care of their own kids and they think they are going to raise and train puppies?? I don't watch, but isn't there some way to get these AHs off the air???

Does anyone wonder why Mady and all the kids scream and overreact to EVERYTHING? That's the Kate way. They do not know any better. And GSDs are very sensitive. She'll make them a nervous wreck.
Mady bonded with that female dog right away. She was kinder than I've ever seen her. Jon said he taught her to feed them and made that her after school job. And he said she was doing well at it. They kept the pups at least 6 weeks. How do you think Mady feels now? Mady has problems anyway. I can't imagine how angry she feels. But, I'm sure we'll see it. That's good TV..ask Kate.
What the hell? The woman is surprised young pups are not toilet trained yet? Doesn't one of her kid take a dump on the floor?
She should have adopted an older dog that is SUPER tolerant. Puppies bite, that's their job, that's how they explore the world.
She is such a low life. Why did the breeder send two pups into that mess?
The whole situation is so sad.
You know that no-one in that household is happy. We know the kids and John are not happy, and I believe that Katie Irene couldn't be happy, or she would never behave as she does.
Then you introduce two innocent, sensitive, defenseless puppies into the mix.
The whole situation is just asking for more chaos and abuse. I wonder if any of the sponsors are smart enough to realize that this is now a negative publicity situation. I honestly will not knowingly buy any of those sponsors' products anymore. Seriously.
Don't buy P&G products and e-mail them and tell them you won't. they are big sponsors. Although I've used Tide for many years, I've stopped because of this and found another brand.
Mady is a miserable child. She's always pissed off and upset over SOMETHING. I'll kill myself if my kid is like that.
Couldn't TLC hire them a dog trainer? Or send the Dog Whisperer for a crossover episode? I hate people who get puppies because they're so cute and then dump them when they find out how much work they are. Idiots.
Kate is just a crazy nutjob and a miserable bitch. I am not surprised that Kate gave the puppies away already. I was just hoping that the sheperds would have gotten really big to take a bite out of Kates narcisstic lazy ass.
