There have been 1,000's of photos of Mickey Rourke and his little dog, Loki. Mickey took Loki everywhere he went and Loki has met more celebrities then TMZ. Now, 18 year old Loki has passed away and I feel really bad for Mickey. There's a special place in my heart for a man who can love a little yapper dog. The enormity of a dogs heart and unconditional love cannot be measured by their size. Rest in peace, Loki. Mickey once said "Sometimes when a man's alone, that's all you got ... is your dog." Awwwww, I hope his grief eases and he finds another sweet dog to keep him company.

Mickey Rourke's constant companion passes away
There have been 1,000's of photos of Mickey Rourke and his little dog, Loki. Mickey took Loki everywhere he went and Loki has met more celebrities then TMZ. Now, 18 year old Loki has passed away and I feel really bad for Mickey. There's a special place in my heart for a man who can love a little yapper dog. The enormity of a dogs heart and unconditional love cannot be measured by their size. Rest in peace, Loki. Mickey once said "Sometimes when a man's alone, that's all you got ... is your dog." Awwwww, I hope his grief eases and he finds another sweet dog to keep him company.

Aww, poor Mickey.......Loki reminds me of my chihuahua, still sleeping in my bed...I never want to have to say goodbye to her.....they get right into your heart and stay there.

Bless his heart. Because of this, I have changed my opinion of ole' Mickey. Any man who loves his dog so much has to be a good guy.
He was great in Johnny Handsome. So happy for this guy to be back in the acting gig.

Had he gotten bailed out when he was down, he would have never found his own inner strength.

Poor Loki was confused. He watched Mickey's appearance change every other month.
he has like 4 or 5 other dogs he's already rescued. he'll probably get more though.
Awwwww....poor goggie! But he lived long and happy on his last years.
Poor guy. I feel for him. It doesn't make it easier losing one when you still have others around. I have four cats and lost the oldest one last summer and still miss him like hell. It's not any different than losing a person you were close to. In fact, I think it's harder losing a pet cuz they never give you any shit.
Exactly @ 6:38, pets don't dish out the greif aggrivation and betrayal that some people do.
Reading this made me tear up. Poor Mickey. He was taking Loki as his date to the Oscars you know, seriously he was, it was sweet, he said if anyone deserved the honor for being so steadfast over the years Loki did. I loved him in that moment.
Unconditional love is always beautiful.
Dogs don't lie, cheat on you, or ruin your credit.

Dogs are awesome beings, but, losing a dog is NOT the same as losing a person.
It's really hard to lose a pet because if you're close to it then it becomes one of the family. I'm sorry to hear about his loss.
Animals love you unconditionally and it's a special kind of love. I'm more of a cat person myself. I adore animals.
I think it depends on how a person feels about their pets if the loss of a pet comes close to the loss of a person. Could happen.

No. Don't make me rant. I love my pets too, but, I'd kill them in a heartbeat if it would bring my child back.
