Continuing story in pictures

My friend Peggy and I found this old school house. Actually, this old town is one I lived in when I was little. I remember this school house, it was empty even then. We lived in a big Victorian house a block from it. Only there are no "blocks" in the town. It's very rural. It was a childhood haunt and one Peg and I found again in our travels. It's deteriorated so much since we started taking pictures of it. Soon it will be gone. As Peggy says, we become historians, in a way. We left some chalk and candy for the spirits and when Peggy went back to check it, she found many messages. I doubt they're from spirits, but, some might be..maybe. It's nice to know people still go there and are respectful.

Peggy is a true artist. She works with many mediums. Her pictures are always better than mine and I don't mind. She sees things that most people can't. She understands the play of light and shadows. Diluted colors and jarring textures. These are part of her School House Series. We need to go out again, Peg. It's been awhile.
