DailyMail: Katie Holmes may be coming to the end of her Purification Rundown diet, but it seems she isn’t stopping there with her commitment to Scientology. I can reveal that the 30-year-old actress resolves problems with her husband Tom Cruise by making weekly written confessions, as laid out in the Scientology code.
‘Katie has to confess to something as minor as forgetting to tell him she has met with a friend,’ says a source. ‘If she commits a transgression against the moral code of their marriage, she has to tell Tom in writing, giving full details of the time and place and what happened.’

Do you think that shit's true? Probably is, which is more paranormal than that post below. If I was her, I'd write "Dear Tom, I'm sorry for not telling you I was kicking you in the nuts." Then I'd kick him right in the nuts. That's just me though, I've never known happiness like Katie Holmes.

Former Scientologists talk about the authoritarian practices In Scientology, but I haven't heard that one yet. Still, it sounds consistent with that religion.
...no wonder she looks haggard, beaten down. damn. He must be holding Suri over her head. This actually is worse abuse than being beaten. When someone beats the shit out of you, you have an instant name for it. Mental, emotional, and spiritual abuse is vague in that often each incident in of itself seems innocuous. He is worse than I thought, & I already thought that he was a monster. All her hyperbole about how well they get along always sounded scripted to me anyway. Poor Katie. really.
I believe it because people that have left Scientology talked about the tapes they have recorded, of the inductees confessing to something embarrasing.
That's right, 4:56.. Renouncing Scientology would be hellish just for the average "joe". Imagine if a *celebrity* quit!? The smear campaign they would wage against you would be enormous.
Gee. Guess that's why celebs never quit.
Thats just the biggest bag of bs ever, having to write confessionals. The only way i'd even slightly not snort at this is if he had to do it too, but i seriously doubt that.
As do I. The Scientology organization is so thrilled to have Tommy-Boy as their spokesman/largest contributor, Apart from his considerable privileges, I've no doubt he operates freely within the group, and with impunity.
Afterall, it's well-known he is second only to David Miscarriage-- oops!, "Miscavige".
These write ups are standard practice. Overts are when you transgress a moral code, in this case the "code" of their marriage. This means that Katie, the poor dear, agreed to these write ups at the beginning. Withholds are when you hide these overts and do not tell them. According to L Ron Hubbard, the only reason a relationship fails is because of these overts and withholds. So coming clean will lead to a happy marriage. Its not mentioned that these will be used against you. These confessions are not considered confidential. Due to Tom's relationship with David Miscavige, the leader of this "church", it is certain that David Miscavige reads everything she writes. As we saw in Toms video, he puts ethics in on those around him. So anything she confesses to, he will feel responsible for handling her about it. That is finding out why she did it, and then using L Ron Hubbards thought reform techniques, so she will not do it again. Yes, you have never known such "happiness" as Kate.
I had a friend who became involved via their adult children's involvement, in a sect of scientology. It's the biggest scam and nonsense ridden doctrine i'd ever heard of. Subsequently they've all been manipulated into thinking it's for the best to have cut themselves off from extended family & friends, and seek approval & a higher plain of consciouness from their local leaders, who by the way, have a HUGE say in their finances & how they are used.
Does he have to "confess" in writing to her? I'd keep those little notes if I were you, Katie, dear, because you might need them down the road.
Can you imagine having to be that co-dependent?
