Jade Goody died in her sleep last night after a long, televised battle with cervical cancer. Rest in peace Jade, you were a shining example of strength and courage to us all.

Me too, she was a gobby cow but I liked her honesty. It's mothers day here & her sons have lost their mum today. She was 27 years old.
It took guts to face the camera's during the worst moments of your life, like or dislike her, you've got to respect that. Must be so hard for her children.

In February 2009, after the cancer metastasised, she was told that it was terminal. She married Jack Tweed on 22 February 2009. Goody died in her sleep on 22 March, 2009.

I too, am sorry to hear of her passing--I didn't know her, but she seemed like an ok person to me. If she had to go, I'm glad she was able to leave in her sleep, at home, and in (hopefully) peace. I wish her family well in the days ahead.

Searching everything gets boring especially if you have a slow computer. When you could walk to the library and look it up in a book faster than your computer brings each page up, you take short-cuts. And admitting you don't know who someone is is a way of commenting on your own sphere of knowledge and interests....some people find reality TV uninteresting.

Jade Goody was just an average "Jane," who wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Some may say she "milked her cancer for every penny she could get." I say good for her. She was able to secure funds for her two little boys. In the process she brought awareness to a horrendous disease. She spurred many women to go and be checked. My heart goes out to all her family, especially her children.

She was in the position to make good money for her 2 sons future, whats wrong with that? Its not like she asked for cancer and lived high on the hog off the money, she was thinking about her kids.
