Natasha Richardson suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident in Canada. The NY Post is reporting that she is brain dead, but, that has not been confirmed. I hope it's not true. She is in critical condition. My thoughts go out to Natasha and her family.

Natasha Richardson suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident in Canada. The NY Post is reporting that she is brain dead, but, that has not been confirmed. I hope it's not true. She is in critical condition. My thoughts go out to Natasha and her family.

So upset about this. She is so graceful and classy. Please be well, Natasha. My heart goes out to Liam and their two sons.
The scary thing is that she just had a little fall on a beginner run. Then she got up & was laughing, talking & walking. She only started having a headache later on. Poor woman.
Word is that she's not brain dead but rather her brain is swelling. Either way, it's mondo serious but at least the latter is treatable.
Such sad news. She seems like such a nice person. My prayers go out to her and her family.
Swelling sounds more likely considerating she was up and moving immediatly after the accident. But it's still so medically dangerous a condition to be in. My thoughts & prayers go out to her & her family. They must be worried sick.
So sad. I always saw pictures of both of them vacationing together and seemed happy. I hope she can recover.
Such a terrible thing to happen to a couple who are clearly world's apart from the typical celebrity.

both her teenage sons were there when it happened also. 12 and 13 year olds. sad, i hope she recovers. if she doesn't at least she was able to see and hold her boys before she was sedated.

Yes, she and Joely Richardson are sisters. They are the daughters of Vanessa Redgrave.
