Cher sent me these pics of some very odd ice that formed on her car during a trip. She said "It kind of looks like fish scales but pointy. The strange thing is, they are all pointing forward. You would think while driving they would be facing backward from the wind. Plus, it wasn't snowing or raining so this was formed from just the wetness on the roads blowing up on the van. It IS odd, I enjoyed seeing it. Thanks Cher. I just uncovered my car, geesh, it's March already! Enough!

the first picture is of what we woke up to in west virginia. i took a few shots as we were leaving to come home. west virginia always has such pretty scenery. cheryl

and they sure are odd ice formations but look very very cool!
Wind must have been blowing in the opposit direction of how you were driving to get that ice pattern, looks cool though.
