Maybe it's not a big deal, but I have a problem with a lot of people referring to themselves as artists. People who sing, or dance, or play (essentially) their own personality out on a stage or on film in a particular presentation are not really artists, in my book. I guess when I paint the walls in my home, or when I pick flowers and put them in a vase, I am an artist, too. Just a pet peeve. I think it elevates these nitwits far above their station.
